BENIN CITY- Former Governor of the Defunct Bendel state, Dr. Samuel Ogbemndia has reiterated his stance that Good Governance is Superior to party allegiance. He made the statement when a delegation of a community organisation, the Uselu people voice paid him a visit to felicitate with him on his recent 83rd birthday anniversary.
The Uselu people’s voice led by Col. Oyema Ebose (ret) eulogised Dr. Ogbemudia on his public –spiritedness which he has carried beyond his days of formal stewardship in galvanizing the people of Edo state for the 2016 Governorship Election around the theme of Good Governance irrespective of part affiliation while pledging to support Dr. Ogbemudia and the Edo mass movement in the guest for Good Governor, they rendered a repost of the extensive mobilisation they hard carried out in the Eguae –Edaikan section of Uselu, and also indicated their future plans while thanking the delegation, Dr. Ogbemndia assured them and other community leaders that the search for a competent candidate would be cast wide, before a decision as to which political party platform would be jointly made –Accordingly, no political party is precluded from showing interest in the activities of the Edo mass movement.
