The family of Fetus Okunoghea were yesterday sacked from there home at No 17 Agbodo Street off Circular road by men suspected to be after his son Presley Okunoghea Omari
The boys numbering about six stormed the premises and set it ablaze, beat up some person who they believed to be family members and left a stern warning that they will be back if Presley should appear in court.
It was revealed that Presley is a sole witness to the murder of a young boy by two other boys believed to be agberos .
It was gathered that on the 19th of last month, Presley and five other boys were in a taxi heading to ring road when an argument ensued. The three boys asked the driver to stop them, and when he did, they dragged out the other boy and descended on him and in the process they stabbed him and Presley while trying to broker peace sustained a head injury.
According to a family member who claim anonymity, Presley and the boy who was later identified as William omorogbe were rushed to the hospital but the boy died before they could get to the hospital. The hospital then referred the matter to the Police.
After his recovery from his head injury, Presley identified the boys to the Police, as they all stay in the same area. The boys were arrested and detained pending there appearance in court.
The case was later charged to court and a date fixed for the hearing, with Presley as the sole witness in the case.
It was also revealed that some persons poured acid on his back as a warning not to testify in the case. The last being the burning down of their family house.
Presley’s mother Mrs. Rita Idubor who was visibly shaken by the incident informed the reporter that Presley escaped by the whiskers when the arsonists jumped down from their vehicle.
The matter is being investigated by the Police and the hearing stalled by the absence of the key witness.
