BENIN CITY-: The last is yet to be heard of a middle age man, Ewansiha Clement Love who allegedly disappeared to an unknown destination for fear of being sacrificed appease Ogun (god of iron and War).
Love who hailed from Ugoton in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State is the first son of his father, Ewansiha Frank who was the Chief Priest between the Ogun and the people of the community.
It will be noted that after the death of the chief priest, (October 1st 2015) his first son is expected to ascend the position. However, Ewansiha Clement Love objected vehemently to citing his Christian religion background as reason.
A source close to the traditional council told our reporter that he would be the chief and must undertake certain spiritual rites which he said include bathing with the water used to bath the late father chief priest, drinking his blood and sleep with the corpse for seven days before the initiation rites.
This the source said infuriated Ewansiha Clement Love and vow not to undertake such ungodly act because of his Christian believe, hence, he disappeared to an unknown destination before was declared wanted by the community. Clement Love objected vehemently to citing his Christian religion background as reason.
