EGBETA – The Chairman, Ovia North-East Local Government Council, Barr. (Mrs) Lucy Omagbon has been commended for executing people-oriented projects in the locality.
The commendation was made yesterday at Egbeta, Uhen Ward, by the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Anselm Ojezua in his remarks during the commissioning of Egbeta Health Centre which was constructed by Hon. Lucy Omagbon- led administration.
Barr. Ojezua who also expressed appreciation over the honour done him by the council chairman for finding him worthy to commission the project, described what he saw as an ‘Hospital,’ called Health Centre.
He congratulated the community and the Omagbon-led administration for the successful completion of the project which has been inaugurated for full operation to commence.
The state party chairman was in company of other party chieftains, including the State Vice Chairman, Barr. Gentleman Amegor, State Woman Leader, Dr. Esosa Amadasun; APC State Public Secretary, Comrade Godwin Erahon, and Ovia North-East Chapter Chairman, Comrade Benson Edosomwan as well as local government functionaries.
They also visited the ongoing construction work at the new secretariat building by the Omagbon-led administration as part of a familiarization tour.
Also speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Oliha of Egbeta, Chief Isa Igbinobaro thanked the council chairman for completing the project and subsequently inaugurating it for full operation for the benefit of everybody.
In her remarks, the council chairman, Mrs. Lucy Omagbon thanked the State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for his encouragement and support to her administration as well as the opportunity given her to serve.
The council boss also thanked the party chieftains and community leaders for their patience and support to her administration.
