Omu-Aran (Kwara) – Prophet Christopher Owolabi of Christ Apostolic Church, Ori-Oke Irapada, Omu-Aran, Kwara, said Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State would be impeached in 2016 unless he prayed fervently against it.
He stated this in his yearly prediction on in Omu-Aran on Sunday.
“Fayose should pray very hard to overcome an imminent impeachment from office in 2016”, he added.
The cleric also prophesied victory for the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Dakuku Peterside, in the re-ordered fresh governorship election in Rivers.
“I can also see, as it was revealed to me, the APC candidate in the River State re-ordered fresh governorship election, Dakuku Peterside, being declared the winner of that election”, Owolabi said.
Owolabi told the congregation, including businessmen, politicians and traditional rulers, that the prophecies were revelations from God.
He said President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade were part of God’s purposeful intervention to give the country a new direction toward a developed and transformed nationhood.
Owolabi said the anti-corruption crusade, coupled with other similar initiatives and support from stakeholders, will bring about the desired socio-economic development envisioned by the country’s founding fathers.
He urged government at all levels to accord more recognition and respect for the traditional institution, especially in governance and policy formulation, to achieve result.
The cleric said traditional rulers, who are the custodian of culture, heritage and tradition and closest to the grassroots, have capabilities to complement government’s rural integration drive to develop the communities.
“With more deserving recognition and respect for our traditional rulers, support of all stakeholders for this administration, Nigeria’s socio-economic and security challenges would be a thing of the past.
“These are God’s word for the country as revealed during the prayers”, Owolabi said.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), recalls that Owolabi predicted victory for Buhari in the 2015 general elections.
He also predicted the emergence of Sen. Bukola Saraki as the 8th Senate President and recently the victory of the APC candidate in Kogi governorship election, late Prince Abubakar.
The cleric had in a prophecy on the election advised people of Kogi and other stakeholders to intensify their devotion in prayers to ensure a free, fair election and avoid unpleasant circumstances arising from the election.
