Lafia – Gov. Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa State on Tuesday warned ethnic groups in the state against fomenting trouble capable of throwing the area into another chaos.

Al-makura gave the warning at an emergency security meeting held at the Government House, Lafia.

He said the state government would not condone any acts that could cause disharmony among the people.

He said any individual or group who attempted to destabilise the state would be decisively dealt with irrespective of the status of that individual or group.

The governor assured that proactive measures had been put in place to check any crisis.

According to him, security operatives would be put on red alert to deal with any crisis.
