One begins to imagine why the Gentiles and believers alike, struggle over dead bodies. It is simply because they are ignorant of the truth that Man is made up of the body, soul and spirit and that the soul and spirit in Man, is that real person. The body, which is ordinary dust or clay or earthen vessel is that part of Man that accommodates the real person. At death, the soul and spirit of that saint of God, that is born of the Truth, and of the Spirit of Christ, ascend into heaven while the soul and spirit of the person who is not born again of the truth, and therefore has not the Spirit of Christ, descend into hell below. The body is left to rot away in the earth, leaving only dry bones. The gates of heaven opened for the soul and spirit of the righteous nation that keeps the truth, as written in Isaiah 26:2.
The major concern, therefore, of the true Christians should be the eternal destination of the soul and spirit of their loved ones, either in hell like the rich man, or in heaven, like Lazarus and also of their own eternal destination after their own death which is inevitable, and shall surely come at its appointed time. Is your soul ready for tat eternal home? This concern should stir them up to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling as written in Philippians 2:12. For example, many have suffered shipwreck and their bodies were nowhere to be found in the seas, talk less of claiming their corpses for burial. No relatives of any madman or armed robber, found dead along the street, will want to claim or even identify with such a corpse, talk less of organizing any burial. Many rich men have suffered plane crashes and their bodies burnt into ashes; many have suffered terrible motor accidents and their bodies torn apart into pieces beyond recognition, and they are left there at the scenes of accident to rot away. THINK ABOUT ALL THESE THINGS AND LAY NO EMPHASIS ON ‘DUST’ TO BECOME ANOTHER ‘god’ IN our lives And so, this tells us that, if a loved one dies in London, for example or anywhere else, especially when such a loved one has spent all his/her life in a particular place where he/she lived and died, such loved one should be allowed to be buried there. Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, but was buried outside the gate of Jerusalem. His body was not conveyed to his place of birth, in Bethlehem. His biological family did not struggle over the body of Jesus.
Therefore the conveyance of dead bodies of loved ones from one place to another, usually to villages, where the deceased were born, is satan’s yoke and a heavy burden. The place of burial does not in any way change the eternal destination of such a loved one, neither will it change the judgment of God upon the soul that is already passed on, unto judgment, immediately after death, as written in Hebrew 9:27 and I quote “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment.” The conveyance of corpses to places of one’s birth is a tradition amongst most tribes. And every tradition is a transgression of the commandment of God, as written in Matthew 15:3. Behind every tradition of men, there is a demon, which makes the people of the land violent and oppressive. Tradition is the inherited lies of the so-called “forefathers”. Tradition of the forefathers is a vanity wherein there is no profit, as written in Jeremiah 16:19c and I quote “surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanities and things wherein there is NO PROFIT.”
What is most worrisome is the tradition, in which parents struggle over ownership of the dead bodies of their deceased daughters, already given out in marriage to men, who are now widowers. They insist, most often with threats to lives of the widowers or widows, as the case may be, that the “corpses” of their deceased daughters or sons, be conveyed to the village for burial. This is the highest degree of necrolatry! The practice should not be seen amongst Christians who profess to know Christ. It is a wicked tradition that has no sympathy for widows and for widowers who have been bereaved of their loved ones; and even no sympathy for the children left behind by the deceased. They will not even mind to kill the widower or widow, if he/she refuses to release the corpse, leaving the children fatherless or motherless, as the case may be! It is this demon behind necrolatry that makes them to be violent and merciless and to want to destroy or kill. Moreover the maltreatment of widows perpetrated by family members of the deceased, as a result of this wicked tradition, is under God’s judgment as quoted here from Exodus 22:22-24 “ Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely here their cry; and my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.” The same wicked tradition traumatizes little children psychologically, when they are compelled to be present at the graveside of any of their deceased parents, whereas Isaac, as old as he was, was not present when Abraham buried his wife alone. Those who profess to know God must understand that pure religion and undefiled before God, is to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction and not to subject these widows and these fatherless children to spiritual and psychological trauma, which the wicked tradition of the Gentiles advocates, and the Gentile nations take pleasure in doing this wickedness. My prayer is that the Lord will deliver His people who ARE POSSESSED BY THIS TERRIBLE DEMON OF NECROLATRY. AMEN.
