BENIN CITY-Members of the dreaded secret cult group, Neo Black Movement of Africa aka Black Axe struck yesterday at Siluko Road, killing two young men, Nosa Akenbor and George Ogie.
It was reliably gathered that four armed gang believed to be members of the dreaded Black Axe group stormed the house at Siluko Road yesterday at about 9pm looking for one Mr. Cyril Ohangbon a former member of the Black Axe, who left the group.
Nosa and George were not really their target, the armed gang killed Nosa Akenbor for been stubborn and asking them what they came to do in his house while George Ogie was shot to death because he is alleged to be a member of rival cult group, the Mafiaso.
Cyril who was their main target renounced his membership of the Neo Black movement, citing numerous killings and bitter rivalry among various cult groups in the country.
Most of the dreaded cult group Black Axe, Eiye, Mafiaso, Black Beret, Vikings etc have been fighting for a battle of supremacy amongst themselves.
Several persons have been killed and properties worth millions of naira destroyed over the years, to compound issues, politicians use this groups for their selfish interest.
While some of the members of this secret groups have renounced their membership, most of them have been killed for leaving the group.
It was further revealed that, when Cyril Ohangbon, left the Black Axe, he received several threat messages and intimidations and was warned to return back to the group.
When he did not heed their warnings, they went to his house in Siluko Road Benin City to eliminate him for daring them, fortunately, he was not at home leading to the killings of Nosa and George.
The whereabouts of Cyril Ohangbon is unknown as he fled for his life. The corpses of Nosa and George have been deposited at the mortuary.
