BENIN CITY – The whereabout of 12 young men is presently unknown, as they are on the run, to avoid being sent to languish in jail or killed out rightly, for practicing homosexualism.

Trouble began for the 12 young men, when men of The Nigerian Police Force invaded their hotel room, where they had gathered for the birthday celebration of one of them, getting some arrested, while others escaped.

Among those arrested by the Police include Mr. Osaro Moses (19), Mr. Kelvin Johnson (20), Mr. Bright Osayande (22), Mr. Bright Osato (18), Mr. Godstime Okundia (19) and Mr. Wisdom Ikponmwosa (21).

However, the case of one of the suspect, Osaro Moses, turned out to be pathetic, as he was said to be stigmatized, rejected, ostracized and even a threat to his life by his friends, family members and the entire people of his community, after his lawyer was able to secured his bail.

According to our sources, Osaro Moses, as the case was on-going in the court, members of his community resolved to make sure that he is sentenced to many years imprisonment to serve as a deterrent to others.

He was said to have won the case for lack of enough evidence to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt, but there was no home for him to return to, as he was already rejected by his people.

Our investigation revealed also that life became unbearable for Osaro Moses, until he had an acquaintance with a man, who harboured him on the condition that he cannot leave and go out, except in the night, occasionally.

Our sources maintained that his matter became compounded when his community people planned and threatened to take his life by setting him ablaze with worn-out tires.

At this juncture, according to The Nigerian OBSERVER sources, Osaro Moses planned and left Nigeria to go and start a new life outside the country where he can enjoy the freedom to live the life he wants for himself.
