Former Napoli star Diego Maradona has heaped praise on defender Kalidou Koulibaly, while giving a curious reason as to why he has not attracted attention elsewhere.

The Senegalese centre-back has been a rock in the middle of Napoli’s defence this season, as the club pushed Juventus hard for the Serie A title.

Juve on Monday prevailed for their fifth straight Scudetto, but Maradona nevertheless admitted he was impressed.
