BENIN CITY – The President, Eghosasere Vigilante Group of Nigeria, (EVGN), Comrade Eghosa Idahosa has commended the Inspector-General of Police, (IGP), Mr. Solomon Arase for promising to assist vigilante groups in Edo State actualise their set goals through workable synergy, logistic support and intelligence sharing.
Comrade Idahosa who gave the commendation in a chat with newsmen in Benin City, yesterday, said the Inspector-General’s strategy of mobilising vigilante groups and streamlining their operations towards effective crime prevention, control and bursting in Edo State was second to none.
He particularly thanked the IGP for his untiring efforts in dealing a death blow on cultism, kidnapping and other related crimes, stating that the IGP deserves the support of all Nigerians, particularly Edo people, to make his assigned task easier. He therefore solicited the support of all individuals, groups and corporate bodies to make the society crime-free.
