BENIN – Concerned citizens living at Second Cemetery Road, Benin City in Oredo local government Edo State, have raised an alarm over the disappearance of one of their youths, Eguye Michael Oghenekaro

They say that he has not been seen since May 9 2016 and are afraid that he may have been kidnapped for rituals or probably killed.

Spokesperson of the community Chief Josiah Osadeba, said that the said
Eguye Michael oghenekaro suddenly went missing after he escaped an attack on his residence at Second Cemetery Road by a group of armed youths suspected to be members of the Black axe cult group.

He said that trouble started after one of the Black axe boys asked
Eguye Michael Oghenekaro to join them as a member but he turned down their offer, saying he was uninterested.

According to Chief Osadeba, “After they accosted him and seized his mobile phone on the allegations that he will expose their identities since he refused to join them.

“The last occasion the cultists stormed his residence, Eguye Michael Oghenekaro
was inside the house while his father was outside but they shot and killed his father after accusing him of hiding his son”.

The Chief said that suspecting that they will enter the house and also kill him, Eguye Michael Oghenekaro ran out the back door and from there disappeared and has not been seen ever since.
