BENIN CITY – The Proprietor of HOFIC Children Academy, and General Overseer, House of Favour International Church (HOFIC), worldwide, Rev. Lucky Onaiwu, has charged parents on the need to inculcate moral values on their wards for the purposes of building a decent society, insisting that parents must show good examples to emulate.
He made the charge weekend, during the 3rd annual graduation ceremony of the school, held at the main auditorium of the House of Favour International Church Corporate Headquarters in Benin City.
According to him, the Hofic School is a Christian school where children are taught the right foundation of life for the growth of the society.
Rev. Onaiwu appreciated the roles played by the parents to ensure smooth learning by their children.
He solicited the cooperation of the parents with the school authorities with a view to modifying their children to achieve desired results. Noting that about 67 pupils graduated from this year he appreciated the management staff of the school for their tireless efforts in distinguishing the pupils from their peers in terms of learning and character.
The NIIGERIAN OBSERVER, reliably gathered that to boost effective and efficient academic learning in the school, the mother of the day and biological mother of the proprietor of the school, Deaconess (Dr) Felicia Onaiwu presented a cash gift of the sum of N100, 000 to the school, saying she was impressed about the teaching prowess of the staff.
In a related development, Professor Oriaifo, a Professor of Medicine, University of Benin, also presented books to the pupils in order to enhance their learning.
He said he was elated to be invited and assured that he would always contribute his role towards the growth of the school.
Present at the graduation ceremony included Dr. Osondu Akona of the Benson Idahosa University as Chairman and Dr. P. Amadasun, who also spoke on the importance of moral values to the society as well as Pastor Osaigbakhoe.
