Several years after unknown gunmen attacked Pa.Okuomose Ugiagbe of the opposition party ,People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abumwenre community in Edo state, confirmed report claimed he has finally passed on in an undisclosed hospital.
It will be recalled in 2010 that Pa.Okuomose Ugiagbe who until his death in the later part of 2013 was an active member of the PDP whose service was needed by the ruling Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) owing to his popularity and formidable political structure in the community.
After several failed attempts to persuade him to defect to the ruling party ,unknown gunmen attacked him in his residence in the community where he was severely beaten up and wounded before he was left for dead.
According to a reliable source in Abumwenre community in Edo state, several days after hospitalization he regained consciousness and however remained hospitalized for several years.
The source hinted that several years after the attack leading to the death of Pa. Okuomose Ugiagbe, his only surviving son, Okuomose Osayomore Henry attempted to avenge the killing of his father by accepting to become a member of a dreaded cult ,The Reformed Ogboni Fraternity.
The Nigerian Observer learned that situation turned from bad to worse when Okuomose Osayomore Henry and his cult members were assigned a task to deal with a stubborn member who was severely beaten up and later confirmed dead but the murder case was not reported.
Confirmed report also revealed that Okuomose Osayomore Henry and others were mandated to discipline and torture an erring member of the occultic group who is a close relative of his .
According to information made available to the Nigerian Observer,Okuomose Osayomore Henry along with others refused to obey the order to torture his brother , an action which set him on collision course with the leadership of the occult group.
It was however reported that the target of the occultic group who refused to obey orders abandoned the group and absconded to an unknown location to either escape arrest by police or the wrath of the members whose services he wanted to use in seeking revenge for his late father’s death.
Okuomose Osayomore Henry, report said ran away from the community to an unknown location as threats to implicate him continued by members of the Ogboni Fraternity as being responsible for the murder of the recent victim of the occult members.
Meanwhile, a statement by the police said a member of Ogboni Fraternity known as Okuomose Osayomorean Henry in Abumwenre community in Edo state is reportedly on the run after he was implicated as being responsible for the death of a young man whose identity is yet to be confirmed.
The police said he was last seen in early 2016 as he has absconded to avoid arrest and prosecution while urging members of the public with useful information on his whereabouts to come forward to the police station.
