KANO–Sharia police also known as HISBAH, has vowed to kill the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OSAHI WORLDWIDE NIG LIMITED, Francis Eche based in Kano.
Francis Eche is a Kano businessman, who deals in the importation and trading of trucks and cars.
He also deals in automobile spare parts such as elements, nozzles and valves for injector pumps which he imports from the Republic of China.
Investigation by the NIGERIAN OBSERVER revealed that Francis Eche’s trouble started when he organized and hosted a gay birthday party in his apartment for his boyfriend called Isa Mohammed on September 25, 2016 which was attended by some of their homosexual friends.
According to an eye-witness, who pleaded to remain anonymous, “ while the gay party was going on, the Islamic Sharia Police, also known as HISBAH suddenly appeared and invaded the Francis Eche’s apartment armed with dangerous weapons including guns and matchets.”
“The HISBAH officers and police men, after surrounding the residence of the businessman, chatted in Hausa language, ‘dan banza’, ‘dan gay’, ‘ Za su kashe mu duka’, meaning that they will kill all the gay partners,” the eye- witness disclosed.
Corroborating the story, another reliable source, who pleaded profusely that her name should not be mentioned for fear of being attacked by the HISBAH, confirmed that the attack on the gay partners was really violent and that was how the party was brought to an abrupt and dangerous end before all the homosexuals in the party were arrested and whisked away by the HISBAH men.
“It was long after the HISBAH had left with the gay members that some sympathizers summoned courage to enter the venue of the party, only for them to discover Francis Eche lying unconsciously and helpless on the floor of his own apartment with part of his head swollen.
THE NIGERIA OBSERVER scooped that Francis Eche was immediately taken to an undisclosed hospital for prompt medical attention in order to save his life.
Since Francis Eche could not be found, HISBAH and the police have burnt his shop and destroyed his house property including the truck he parked in front of his shop.
Francis Eche’s unknown whereabouts is of great worry because HISBAH has vowed to kill him whenever and wherever he is found and has also intensified its search for him in order to arrest and prosecute him for violating Islamic Sharia law and Nigeria law.
It was also gathered that some HISBAH men came back to the apartment of Francis Eche to confirm if he was actually dead but to their surprise, he was nowhere to be found.
Since the day of the incident, the HISBAH and the police consistently visited the apartment of Francis Eche in search of him before they finally found out the hospital where he was revived and recuperating.
The NIGERIA OBSERVER learnt that it was by whiskers that Francis Eche escaped death from the hospital when the HISBAH and police men stormed the hospital in order to kill Francis Eche .
Since his miraculous escape from the hospital alive, Francis Eche’s whereabouts is not known.

Offenders, upon conviction,are liable to 14 years imprisonment.
