BENIN CITY – Believers Love World Ministry (aka Christ Embassy) has congratulated Edo State Governor-elect, Mr. Godwin Obaseki with his wife Betsy and prayed God to give him wisdom to successfully lead the state.
The Head Pastor, Mr. Moses Olayemi who hosted Mrs. Betsy Obaseki during her visit to the Church to join other Nigerians to celebrate Nigeria’s 56th Independence Day, congratulated Mrs. Betsy for her husband’s victory at the polls, reassuring her that God will continue to grant her husband the needed wisdom and the knowledge to lead Edo state successfully.
Mrs. Betsy Obaseki who had expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the people of Edo State for the mandate given to her husband said, “she has no doubt that Nigeria will be a great country and would soon bounce back from recession because of her leadership, President Muhammadu Buhari.”
She, however, urged Nigerians to continue to support and pray for Nigeria, adding that she was convinced that “where God is taking this our beloved country to, through the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari will be greater than where it is presently.
“Spreading the good news of God is most important to me. Myself and my husband will continue to support this project. These words will go round the whole world. I pray God continue to strengthen Pastor Chris and the church for the great work they have being doing.”
She also reiterated her avowed commitment to every good thing that concerns God, noting that she is privileged to be involved in God’s work.
“God has saved our country and I want to reassure you that we will come out of this doldrums. This country is going to great places with the Lord,” she said.
