BENIN CITY – About 4,702 beneficiaries from Edo State have been selected to commence the first phase of the Federal Government Social Investment Programme on Thursday December 1, 2016.
Prospective beneficiaries, who are part of the unemployed graduates residents in Edo State that applied for the empowerment programme, are to check for their names in the portal through which the applied in the first place.
This is contained in a Government Special Announcement signed by the Head of Service, Edo State, Mrs. Gladys Idahor made available to newsmen in Benin City Monday.
According to the statement, “Selected beneficiaries are expected to go to their Local Government Areas of residence for physical verification and with relevant supporting documents between Tuesday 29th November and Wednesday 30th November 2016.”
“The verification exercise closes at 12 noon on Wednesday 30th November, 2016. Assumption of duties for beneficiaries is Thursday 1st December, 2016.
