The Man United skipper has had an awful season so far and has struggled for form making less impact so far this season. Manchester United as a club has not found it rosy this season. The Red Devils lost three matches in succession in the Premier League and Europa League and were humbled 4-0 at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
Rooney was pegged at 50/1 odd of leaving Old Trafford in January at the beginning of the season but judging from his current predicament the odds have outrageously slashed to 4/1 signalling the 31-year-old striker could end his twelve years relationship with the club sooner than expected.
