Akoko Edo – The Old Boys Association of Saint Paul Anglican Grammar School, Igarra, Akoko Edo 97 set (ANGLONITE) honoured one of their own during their Annual meeting which holds every 3rd of January, 2017.

Mr Sammy Suru Obende was honored with an award of recognition for his commitment to duty and support for educational advancement through the provision of infrastructure for good academic learning environment.

The President of the group led by Dr Musa Momoh in his remark said that SOBEN Global Concepts Limited has done so well for its assistance to schools in Akoko Edo in Edo state.

He said: “We are glad to have you as a member of this Union. You and your company have done so well. It is part of the reason de seem it fit to recognise and appreciate your efforts with this award.

“It is worthy to note that Mr Sammy Suru Obende has also through his managerial skills as philantropist devoted much of his time and energy in ensuring that some of this schools needing attention for repairs and other vital attention are accorded assistance for excellent learning environment for students.

“No doubt your vast interest in real estate and other business initiatives has single you and your company out which over time has done tremendously well in areas mentioned above. We commend your efforts as we look forward to great heights from you” , he said.

Mr Sammy Suru Obende, the CEO of SOBEN GLOBAL CONCEPTS LTD, in his remark said he is particularly delighted for the recognition even though he never expected it.

He assured the group that with this award na is further encourage him to see every little contribution as very vital. ” I want to thank everyone of you for this opportunity of this award for recognition. On behalf of myself, my family and SOBEN GLOBAL, I say a big thank you. I am marvelled by it”, he noted.

It will be noted that this appreciation is coming months after the Akoko Edo LGC has also commended him for his selfless service towards to the community and humanity.
