Benin City:- An appeal court sitting in Benin this week set aside a high court Judgement which convicted Chief Felix Nosa Osadolor (a.k.a Afro) to death over his alleged involvement in the assassination of Chief Sunday Ahanor.
The case which began since 2005 came to a conclusive end when he was acquitted and discharged on all count charges , putting an end to a legal battle that lasted 12years.

The judgement did not go down well with some persons especially those who have pending issues bothering on land and those who are in his black book for one reasons or the other. A lot of people wanted him to go in for the offense as they believe that he masterminded the killing, but court judgements are not based on suspicion or hearsay.

The Aduwawa community were hoping that his conviction will once again bring peace and tranquility to the area, without any fear of harassment or bullying.

It was also hoped that the process will unveil the whereabouts of Victor Edward Ehue popularly known by his native name Osayuki, whom in 2007 was declared missing by the family while scooping information for the disappearance of his father, Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue. It was rumored in some quarters then that Victor went into hiding due to threats to his life by same Chief while some feared that he was dead, but it was hoped that Victor may resurface if the conviction scaled through. With the turn of events, Victor Edward Ehue will remain in hiding if still alive.
