Christology:  Jesus, the Master of Businessmen

When our Lord Jesus Christ was in the world He did not leave any stone unturned. He was indeed, the Master of all, including businessmen. In the gospel of Luke 16:1-8 our Lord Jesus Christ used the parable of the dishonest steward to buttress his point on the importance of sharing. In this parable the master commended the dishonest steward for his prudence. He used his temporal position to make as much friends as possible. Unlike present day Christians who usually use their positions to terrorize people. In conclusion, our Lord Jesus Christ said, “the sons of this world are wiser in their own generation than the sons of light.”  Child of God, may God not allow the children of this generation to be wiser than you. As you use your position for the glory of God and for the good of humanity the Lord will surely bless you and it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: The wise ones are the most charitable ones. Whereas the selfish ones are the most foolish ones on earth. If you want to be wise then be try to be Charitable.

Prayer for the Spirit of Generosity: Heavenly Father, you are the most generous Being the world has ever known. You are so generous that you allowed your sun to shine on both good and bad. In today’s gospel, your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, used the parable of the dishonest steward to prove to us the importance of charity, sharing and generosity.  With our position in life, we can win as many friends as possible. Lord, make us generous as you are generous, and may your name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message:  You are full of Goodness

When God created a good world. After creation, God “saw everything that He made, and behold, it was very good” (Genesis 1:31). Everything here includes you. You are among the good things God created. In his letter to the Romans 15:14-21, St. Paul wrote, “I myself am satisfied about you, my brethren, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.” Child of God, as St. Paul rightly declares, you are full of goodness. In fact, you are the best! You are the best thing that has ever happened to this world. Indeed, you are full of goodness and knowledge. And as a child of the Most High God, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life and you shall dwell in the goodness of the Lord forever and ever – Amen!

Christology:  Jesus, the Master of Fidelity

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Most faithful Master the world has ever known. He was faithful to God the father and he was also faithful in his salvific mission. He taught his followers the importance of fidelity. In the gospel of Luke 16:9-15, he said, “He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust to you the true riches?” Child of God, if you truly want to be like Christ then you must be faithful in all your deeds. Without fidelity nobody can trust you. As you remain faithful in God, it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: Fidelity is the key that opens the doors to trust. A faithful man is a trustworthy man. If you want people to trust you, then you must be faithful!

Prayer for the Spirit of Fidelity:  Almighty and ever living God, you are indeed a trustworthy God.  You are the God of the faithful. You called us to live a life of fidelity. Without faithfulness none of us will inherit your kingdom. Lord, deliver us from the spirit of infidelity. Make us faithful as you are faithful. Grant this, through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Lord will surely strengthen you.

We cannot do without a divine strength. We need the power from above. God is the only One that can empower us. In his letter the Romans 16:22-27 St. Paul wrote, “Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ… to the only wise God be glory for evermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.” Child of God, the Lord God is able and ever ready to strengthen you. He will surely empower you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Master of the Wise Virgins

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Master of the Virgins. The gospel of Matthew 25:1-13presents him as the glory of the wise virgins. He is the long expected Messiah. In the parable of the ten virgins, five of them were presented as wise virgins while five others were presented as foolish virgins. The wise virgins had enough oil whereas the foolish one came without oil. As they went out to buy their oil at midnight the long expected master arrived. By the time they returned it was too late, the door was finally locked. The lesson from this parable, according to our Lord Jesus Christ is “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” Child of God, you will not be among the foolish virgins. You will be among the wise ones who will have enough oil and who will inherit the kingdom of heaven, through Jesus Christ our Lord – Amen!

Inspirational Message: A wise virgin will always think of tomorrow whereas a foolish virgin does not even care about today.

Lateness is a foolish act but delay is the most dangerous act on earth.

Prayer for Wise Virgins: Heavenly Father, King of virgins, Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ was born by the wisest Virgin on earth. Lord, we have so many virgins in our world today, some of them are wise while others are foolish. Lord, deliver our virgins from the spirit of foolishness. Bless us with wise virgins. May they be wise like our Mother Mary. And may your name be glorified in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message:  You will surely find Wisdom

Wisdom is the best gift on earth. Wisdom is the source of wealth. The wise ones are the richest ones. Solomon prayed for wisdom. God granted his request and today he is still recognized as the wisest king on earth. The book of Wisdom 6:12-16 declares, “Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily discerned by those who love her, and is found by those who seek her.” The wise ones can never fade away. They are ever green. Child of God, you need wisdom more than you need money. If you start looking for wisdom today, you will surely find her. As you encounter wisdom, you will become wiser and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology:  Jesus, the Defender of the Little Ones

Our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world because of the little ones. The little ones are the vulnerable ones in the society. They are the weak and innocent ones. When He was in the world he defended the right and interest of the little ones. In the gospel of Luke 17:1-6 Jesus said, “Temptations to sin are sure to come; but woe to him by whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.” Child of God, our Lord Jesus Christ will not allow anyone to destroy you. He will not even allow anyone to deceive you. So, don’t deceive anyone and don’t even deceive yourself. God bless you as you do so!

Inspirational Message: The worst enemies are those who try to deceive the little ones. Whereas the best friends are those who defend the interest of the little ones. Jesus is the defender of the little ones! He is our best friend.

Prayer for the Little Ones: Heavenly Father, you are the Lord of the little ones. The Defender of the defenseless. When your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ was in the world he defended the little ones. Lord, we have so many little and vulnerable ones in the world today. So many of them have been deceived while most of them have nobody to defend them. Lord, deliver the little ones from the spirit of deception. Give them the grace to resist all the evils that may come their ways, through Jesus Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message:  You are filled with God’s Spirit.

Before creation the book of Genesis 1:2 declares, “The Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters.” This spirit is the principle of life. Where there is God’s spirit there is life and where there is life there is God’s spirit. In the book of Wisdom 1:7 the author declares, “The Spirit of the Lord has filled the world, and that which holds all things together knows what is said.” You cannot separate God’s spirit from the work of his hands. The world is the work of God’s hands. That is why the Spirit of God will continue to fill the world. Child of God, this same spirit of the Lord has filled your family. The Spirit has filled your business centre, your academics, your vocation and your marital life. As the Spirit of the Lord fills your heart, it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Master of the Unworthy servants

Our Lord Jesus Christ is our Master. We are his unworthy servants. We are not even worthy to be called his servants. When he was in the world some people wanted to serve him but he rejected the offer. He told one of them foxes have holes and birds have nests but the son of Man has no where to lay his head. In the gospel of Luke 17:7-10 after narrating the parable of the unworthy servant Jesus told his disciples, “When you have done all that is commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’ Child of God, you are blessed! As long as you are serving the living God, you are favoured in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: The greatest privilege on earth is the privilege to serve God. If God considers you as one of His servants, then you are blessed!

Prayer for Unworthy Servants: Heavenly Father, you are the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. You are the Master of the unworthy servants, like me. We are not worthy to be your servants yet you have called us to your service. Thank you Lord for considering us worthy of your service. Give us the grace to serve you all the days of our lives in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You are in God’s hands.

The Lord’s hand is the safest place anyone can be. To be in God’s hand is to experience divine safety and protection. In God’s hand you have nothing to fear. The book of Wisdom2:23—3:9 declares, “The souls of the righteous are in the hands of God, and no torment will ever touch them.” Child of God, as long as you are living a righteous life, your life and even your soul is in God’s hand. No harm and no torment shall ever touch you. No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. With the Lord on your side, you are secured forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Saviour of the Lepers

I doubt if there is any group in the world that our Lord Jesus Christ did not identify with. His salvation cuts across all the segments of the society.  In the gospel of Luke 17:11-19 our Lord Jesus Christ healed ten lepers. When he saw them crying to him for help, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.”And as they went they were cleansed.” The Samaritan among them came back and showed appreciation. With this our Lord Jesus Christ has proved to the world that He is the Saviour of the lepers. He is indeed the Saviour and Redeemer of all the sick. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Inspirational Message: Sin is the worst form of leprosy. As Jesus cleansed the lepers He will cleanse us of all our sins. Jesus is the only One that can cleanse us of all our sins.

Prayer for Lepers: Merciful God, you are the great physician. When your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, was in the world he healed so many sick people, including the lepers. Ten lepers were even healed instantly. Lord, sin happens to be among the most unclean sickness in our world today. Lord cleans me from all my sins. Heal the sick, especially those with leprosy. And may your name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message:  You shall be made Holy

Holiness is the essence of God. Holy is the Lord, God Almighty! Like our God, we are called to live a holy life. In the book of Leviticus 11:45, the Lord God declares, “You must be holy because I am holy.” The book of Wisdom6:1-11 also declares,For they will be made holy who observe holy things in holiness.” Child of God, every spirit of uncleanness is hereby canceled in Jesus name! From today you shall live a holy life and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Master of God’s Kingdom

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Master of the kingdom of God. He was the only One that knew everything about God’s kingdom. He actually came into the world to reveal and establish the kingdom of God here on earth. In the gospel of Luke 17:20-25 the Pharisees came asking him about the kingdom of God. He said to them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Behold, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” With this statement, it is obvious that our Lord Jesus is indeed the Master of God’s kingdom. By implication, his presence in the world is indeed the presence of God’s kingdom. As long as our Lord Jesus Christ is concerned, God’s kingdom is not just at hand, it is already in our midst. Child of God, as you live according to the precept of God’s kingdom it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: There are so many expectations in the world: we have heavenly expectations and earthly expectations. Kingdom expectations remains the best expectation.

Prayer for Kingdom Preparation: Heavenly Father, your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ has taught us the importance of preparation. He even told us to be ready at all times. Lord, give us the grace to prepare for your Son’s second coming. May we be ever ready to receive him when he comes again in glory, Through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: With Wisdom, You are Favoured

The author of the book of Wisdom7:22—8:1 describes wisdom as intelligent, holy, unique, manifold and so on. “She can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets; for God loves nothing so much as the man who lives with wisdom.” Wisdom makes the impossible possible. It opens the door of impossibility. Child of God, with wisdom nothing shall be impossible to you. With wisdom you can do all things. The impossible shall become possible and it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!
