Christology: Jesus and Signs of his Second Coming
Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming again in glory. In the gospel of Luke 17:26-37 Jesus spoke about his second coming. Jesus gave his followers the following insights concerning his second coming:
1). The second coming of Christ will take people unaware like the day of Noah.
2) The second coming is like the days of Lot. The people were eating and drinking as before. As soon as Lot went out of Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from heaven and destroyed them all.
3) On that day let him who is on housetop not come down.
4) Let him who is in the field not turn back
5) Whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it
6) Whoever loses his life will preserve it
7) On that night, there will be two men in one bed; one will be taken and the other left
Inspirational Message: The most ignorant people on earth are those who doubt the second coming of Christ. The second coming of Christ is as sure as the day break.
Prayer for the Coming of God’s Kingdom: Heavenly Father, King of heaven and earth. Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, came and revealed the mystery of your kingdom. With his teachings and warnings we shall not be taken unawares. Give us the grace to prepare for your kingdom. May we be among those who will inherit your kingdom. And may your name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!
Prophetic Message: God will manifest His greatness through You
According to the book of Genesis, We human beings are created in God’s image and likeness. We are the mirror of the Most High God. The author of the book of Wisdom13:1-9 wrote “For from the greatness and beauty of created things comes a corresponding perception of their Creator.” Child of God, from today you shall reflect the beauty of God. You shall manifest the greatness of the Most High God. People will soon see your good work and give glory to God. It shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Master of Prayer
Our Lord Jesus Christ was not just a prayerful Man, he was also the Master of prayer. He taught his disciples the importance of prayer. He even taught them how to pray. In the gospel of Luke 18:1-8 “Jesus told his disciples a parable, to the effect that they ought always to prayand not lose heart.” In this parable an unrighteous judge granted a poor widow her request due to persistence. Child of God, never you give up! With faith and persistence God will surely grant your heart desire and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
Inspirational Message: Perseverance is the only thing that guarantees your success. As long as you don’t give up, your success is guaranteed.
Prayer for the spirit of perseverance in Prayer: Heavenly Father, you are indeed a faithful God, a covenant keeping God. No matter how long or how hard, you never forget your promise. All we need from you is patience and perseverance. Lord, give us the grace of perseverance. May we never loose hope in you. Instead, we shall continue to pray until something happens. Grant this, through Christ our Lord – Amen!
Prophetic Message: Nothing shall harm you
Children of God are the most secured people on earth. Wherever they find themselves, they will be unharmed. The book of Wisdom 19:6 declares, “For the whole creation in its nature was fashioned anew, complying with your commands, that your children might be kept unharmed.” Child of God, the Lord has fashioned creation anew for your safety and protection. Nothing shall ever harm you. You are secured in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Master of our Talents
God did not create anyone empty handed. He created us with talents and potentiality. Talents are unmerited gifts given to us by God. Every human being has a talent; but not every human being are able to discover their talents.
In the gospel of Matthew 25:14-30 Jesus told his disciples a parable on talent. According to him, “A man who was about to embark on a journey called his servants and entrusted to them his property; to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability.” The one with five talents came forward, bringing five talents. His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’ The one with two talents came forward with two more talents. But the one with one talent returned his own saying, I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’ “But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I have not winnowed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Child of God, may God not allow you to bury your talent. As you make good use of your talent, you shall excel and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
Inspirational Message: Talent is the foundation of national development. A nation cannot develop without the talent of the individuals that make up the nation
Prayer for more talents: Heavenly Father, you endowed man with infinite gifts and talents. With your talents man was able to shape and transform the world. Lord, thank you for all the talents you have deposited in us. Bless us with more talents and give us the grace to develop these talents for your greater glory, through Christ our Lord – Amen!
Prophetic Message: God will bless you with a good wife/husband
The lucky ones are those who find a suitable partner. Psalm 128:1 declares, “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord… your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house.” The book of proverbs 31:10-13 also declares, “Who can find a good wife? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.” Child of God, the Lord will surely bless you with a suitable partner. Your partner shall be your companion. He shall be there for you in sickness and in health. God will use your partner to wipe away your tears. And it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Restorer of Sight
One of the interesting miracles in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ was the restoration of the eyes of the blind. As long as a blind man is concerned, the eyes remains the most importance part of the body. In the gospel of Luke 18:35-43 Jesus opened the eyes of a blind beggar. When he asked the blind man what he wants, the man replied, “Lord, let me receive my sight.” Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”And immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. Child of God, the Lord has given you an open cheque. Whatsoever you ask God in prayer, he will surely do it for you. He will restore your spiritual sight and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
Inspirational Message: A blind man has only one intention – and that is the restoration of his sight.
Spiritual blindness is the worst form of blindness. If you are blind spiritually you will never see the goodness of God in creation.
Prayer for the Restoration of Sight: Our gracious God, we thank you for the gift of our sight. Thank you for the restoration and protection of our sight. Lord, deliver us from darkness and from the spirit of blindness. Restore our spiritual and physical sight. Bless us with healthy visual sight. Grant this, through Christ our Lord – Amen!
Prophetic Message: You shall stand firm
When the Israelites encountered an evil king who turned their minds from God, some of them remained firm. According to the book of Maccabees 1:62-64″Many in Israel stood firm and were resolved in their hearts not to eat unclean food. They chose to die rather than to be defiled by food or to profane the holy covenant.” Child of God, don’t allow anybody to deceive you. Don’t join the evil ones in their rebellious ways. Stand firm in your faith. As you remain faithful, the Lord will surely bless you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, our Guest of Honour
Zacchaeus was among the few lucky people that our Lord Jesus Christ visited when he was in the world. In the gospel of Luke 19:1-10 Zacchaeus did everything humanly possible to see Jesus. Even as a Chief tax collector he ran and even climbed the sycamore tree to see Jesus. Luckily for him, Jesus gave him a surprise visit. When Jesus visited his home he declared, “Today salvation has come to this house.” Child of God, our Lord Jesus Christ is visiting your home. He is your special guest of honour. When he visits you, your home will never remain the same. He is visiting your home with his salvation, blessing and prosperity. It shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
Inspirational Message: If Jesus visits your home, your home will never remain the same. Hear him saying, “Today salvation has come to this house.”
Prayer for Divine Visitation: Lord Jesus Christ, when you visited the home of Zacchaeus you declared, “Today salvation has come to this house.” Lord, we need you in our homes. We need you in our families, in our school and even at our business centre. Visit us and remain with us forever, in Jesus name – Amen!
Prophetic Message: Your life and Death will bring glory to God
We, the children of God has nothing to lose – alive or death we belong to God. In his letter to the Romans 14:8, St. Paul wrote, “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” The author of the book of Maccabees6:18-31 narrates the story of an old man whose death brought glory to God. The only crime he committed was because he refused to eat forbidden meat. Before his death he said courageously, “It is clear to the Lord in his holy knowledge that, though I might have been saved from death,I am enduring terrible sufferings in my body under this beating, but in my soul I am glad to suffer these things because I fear him.” This is amazing! Child of God, your life and even your death will surely bring glory to God. It shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Master of Traders
Today, our Lord Jesus Christ has remembered the traders. He is indeed the Master of traders. In the gospel of Luke 19:11-28 Jesus used the image of traders and their masters to explain to his followers the mystery of God’s kingdom. In this parable, the master gave his servants different amount of pounds to trade with. After trading with the pounds, the first came and said, ‘Lord, your pound has made ten pounds more.’ “And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’“And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your pound has made five pounds.’ he was also rewarded. The third trader came and said, ‘Lord, here is your pound, which I kept laid away in a napkin; for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man; you take up what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow.’ The master condemned him; took the pounds and gave it to the one who has more, saying, ‘I tell you, that to everyone who has will more be given; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Child of God, the more you develop your talents the more your talent will increase. The more you develop your business the more your business will be expanding. May God richly bless you as you make good use of all the gifts he has given you, in Jesus name – Amen!
Inspirational Message: A trader is a business man who deals with goods and services. He is either a buyer or a seller of goods. If you want to make more money then be ready to make more investment.
Prayer for Traders: Heavenly Father, when you created man you gave him the mandate to be fruitful in all ramifications. The world is incomplete without traders. Traders make goods and services available and affordable to us. Without traders we will find it very difficult to purchase the essential things we need in life. Lord, I commit all the traders into your hands. Bless them and bless their business; and may your name be glorified through Christ our Lord -Amen!
Prophetic Message: You will surely Rise Again
In the book of Maccabees7:1, 20-31 seven brothers were about to be killed for not partaking in the eating of unlawful swine’s flesh, which is an act against God. Their mother stood by their side and encouraged them, saying, “It was not I who gave you life and breath, nor I who set in order the elements within each of you. Therefore the Creator of the world, who shaped the beginning of man and devised the origin of all things, will in his mercy give life and breath back to you again, since you now forget yourselves for the sake of his laws.”What a courageous mother! Child of God, don’t allow anybody to intimidate you. Don’t even allow anybody to force you into committing any crime. Even if they kill you for doing good, the Lord must surely raise you up. You will rise again! And it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the great Visionary.
A visionary is a futurist, a creative thinker, and above all, a prophet. Our Lord Jesus Christ is a Visionary and indeed, the Master of visionaries. In the gospel of Luke 19:41-44 as a Visionary when he saw what was about to happen to Jerusalem, the great city, he wept over it, saying, “Would that even today you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For the days shall come upon you, when your enemies will cast up a bank about you and surround you, and hem you in on every side, and dash you to the ground. Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened because the people did not take the necessary precautions. Almost everything Jesus predicted when he was in the world has come to pass. That shows that our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed the greatest Visionary the world has ever known. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!
Inspirational Message: Visionary is a divine gift. A nation with such gift can never experience blindness and it cannot be taken unawares.
Prayer for Divine Vision: Heavenly Father, we thank you for your gift of vision. Thank you for the gift of you Son, the greatest Visionary the world has ever known. Thank you, Lord, for raising visionaries in our world today. Lord, bless us with more visionaries. Give us the grace to recognize and appreciate our visionaries. As you reveal your plans through the visionaries, may your name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!
Prophetic Message: You are a Covenantal Child
Our God is a covenant keeping God. We are in a covenantal relationship with God. While so many people have broken their covenant with God there are few faithful ones in the bible who keep their covenant with the living God. Among them is Mattathias. In the book of Maccabees 2:15-29when he was compelled to go against the law of the Lord, he declared, “Even if all the nations that live under the rule of the king obey him, and have chosen to do his commandments, departing each one from the religion of his fathers, yet I and my sons and my brothers will live by the covenant of our fathers.” This is faith in action! Child of God, you are indeed a covenantal child. Nothing can separate you from the law of the most High God. It shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!
