BENIN CITY- The Speaker of Edo House of Assembly, Kabiru Adjoto on Wednesday commended governor Godwin Obaseki over the ongoing massive renovation of the Assembly complex.
Adjoto gave the commendation in Benin when he inspected the ongoing renovation of the Assembly complex.
He said that the governor was providing the enabling environment for institutions to function effectively in the state adding that, massive construction of roads and infrastructure were ongoing in the state.
”This is just the first phase of the renovation, there will be a total overhaul and renovation of the Assembly complex this year,” he said.
The house committee chairman on Infrastructure, Osaigbovo Iyoha, member representing ( APC Oredo East )constituency also used the opportunity to thanked the governor for providing a 650KVA perkins generator to power the complex.
Iyoha said” The governor is doing a great job by turning around the Legislature and the entire state.
”We thanked the executive for his kind gesture, words are not enough to express how will feel,” he said.
According to him, before now we used to beg PHCN to give us light for three hours to enable us seat but with a 650KVA which has just been installed, we do not need to beg again.
