A group, Youths for Presidency Movement, has called on all stakeholders, especially the Nigerian youths to come contribute their inputs to the movement’s manifesto.

The manifesto night which is expected to take place during a 2-Day Leadership Summit in Osun State organized by the movement, is to guide its members as well as candidates.

According to the National Convener, Umudjere Africaman, the reason for the manifesto is to ensure that the Movement do not fail in its quest to present better candidates for leadership.

The National Convener in a statement signed by him, said, the youths have long been marginalized for long, and that the country has not experienced any meaningful growth since inception of Democracy in 1999.

Umudjere stated that, the document would address the problems and conflicting issues facing Nigeria as a country, adding, “constructing” the manifesto is to guard against the Youths for Presidency Movement from failing Nigerians.

He said, “in order to re-engineer the Nigerian State, there is urgent need for a new association of Nigerians that will carry the torch of a united, prosperous, egalitarian, and just society.

“There is need to address us Nigerian Youths in good fate; we need to know ourselves and not be like some youths that were given political power and are using it against the Nigeria people”.

He however charged participants in the 2-Day programme to follow the guidelines for the leadership training, which is slated for 6th and 7th April, 2018.
