A United States of America magazine, Africa-USA Today has awarded Amb. Princess Asha Okojie Odigie the 2018 International person of the year award.
The award which is the first to be accorded to any one by this reputable magazine was presented to Amb. Princess Asha Okojie in Chicago.
There have been several messages of congratulations to the UN, ECOSOC Ambassador, FACE Cultural Ambassador and Edo state Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs, US Ambassador for culture.
According to Hope Adeniyi, The triple Ambassador was commended for being a strong woman, a lady with beauty, brain, integrity, good sense of humour and a big heart.
“My Princess, like you always say, ‘you don’t need an army of friends to validate you, only God can let your work speak for you, the sky is your limit in Jesus Name.
“May your passion and love for humanity continue to take you places when people forget your goodness, God will remember you,” he noted.
In another message of congratulation, Edo State Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Osaze Osemwegie-Ero noted that, “we are proud of you”.
