LAGOS – The Police in Lagos have uncover the antics of a suspected ritualist who hide under the pretense of running a football academy to two underage boys and shave their pubic and armpit for ritual purpose.
The suspect, identified simply as
Victor, aged 43years, is currently being quizzed by detectives over the alleged act.
He is said to be the owner and financier of a flourishing Football Academy located in Agege area of the state.
According to police source, the suspect has shaved the ampit and pubic of at least six kids as at the last count.
His antics, according to the source is that the suspect usually lure some youths ages between 11 and 15 years to his house, shave their armpit and pubic after a football game apparently for ritual purpose and thereafter gives them.between N100 and N200 only.
The bubble was said to have burst when one of the victims named Oluwseun aged 11 years developed a mysterious illness that defied all mediation administered on him.
He was said to have emanciated and became a source of grave concern to the parents.
“It was at this point that the boy revealed to his parent what he has been passing through in the hands of the suspect”, the source disclosed.
The source added that the victim stated that the suspect had shaved his pubic six times and also named other victims.
The Commissioner of Police Lahoa Command EdgalImohimi while confirming the report, sai Victor was picked after one of the children identified as Oluwaseun, 11, fell sick and told his parents the suspect had shaved his pubic hairs six times.
Edgal therefore advised parents to be wary of the whom they entrust their kids in his care in the name of training them for one game or the other.
In the event of that, Edgal admonished that such a.minor should be accompanied by an adult for proper monitoring.
