Iwogban – The church of God mission international (CGMi) on Tuesday, inaugurated its Iwogban 1 branch known as “Glorious Center”.
The church located in ikpoba Okha local government area of Edo state, was inaugurated by the Archbishop of CGMi, Magaret Benson-Idahosa amid celebrations.
Delivering her message, the Archbishop admonished Christians to always obey the call of God irrespective of gender, which according to her comes with a “great reward”.
Idahosa, while commending the presiding Minister of the church branch, Rev Mrs Olayinka Aken’Ova, asserted that “when God gives you a call to serve him, he backs it up with anointing.”
Earlier in her address, Rev Aken’Ova said the building was made possible with the help of God and cooperation of church members, quoting the Bible verse of Nehemiah 4:6.
“I met true worshippers of God in Iwogban 1, but in a shack. Right then, we had this burden to build and the church members were happily and willingly ready”, the presiding pastor said.
