Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Master of Marital Life
Our Lord Jesus Christ came to restore so many things that were destroyed due to original sin. When God established the institution of Marriage he destined it for life. But unfortunately sin broke the union between God and man and even the union between husband and wife was also affected. In the gospel of Matthew 19:3-12 a Pharisees came up to Jesus and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” He answered, ‘Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one’? So they are no longer two but one. What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder.” With this declaration our Lord Jesus Christ proved to the world that He is indeed the Master of marital life. He is the only one that can restore and sustain marital relationship. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

The Lord creates, decorates and beautifies his chosen ones. In the book of Ezekiel 16:1-15, 60, 63 the Lord declares, “When I passed by you again and looked upon you, behold, you were at the age for love; and I spread my skirt over you, and covered your nakedness: yes, I pledged myself to you and entered into a covenant with you, says the Lord GOD, and you became mine. Then I bathed you with water and washed off your blood from you, and anointed you with oil. I clothed you also with embroidered cloth and shod you with leather; I wrapped you in fine linen and covered you with silk. And I decked you with ornaments, and put bracelets on your arms, and a chain on your neck. And I put a ring on your nose, and earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown upon your head. Thus you were decked with gold and silver; and your clothing was of fine linen, and silk, and embroidered cloth; you ate fine flour and honey and oil. You grew exceedingly beautiful, and came to regal estate.” Child of God, as long as you are faithful to God, He will surely decorate you. He will cover your nakedness with the garment of his glory. At the evening of your life, He will furnish you with a crown of glory and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Friend of Children
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Man of the people. He is the Saviour of the world, including children. His love for children was exceptional. In the gospel of Matthew 19:13-15 “Children were brought to Jesus that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people; but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid his hands on them and went away.” Child of God, Jesus loves you! Nobody, not even the disciples can separate you from the love of God which is made manifest in Christ Jesus. The Lord will continue to defend you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: Your Background will not bring your back to the ground
Most people, especially the youths, are feeling incompetent due to their family background. Some people have even attributed their failures to parental curses and evil inheritances. In the book of prophet Ezekiel 18:1-10 the Lord declares: “Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins shall die. “If a man is righteous and does what is lawful and right if he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbour’s wife or approach a woman in her time of impurity, does not oppress any one, but restores to the debtor his pledge, commits no robbery, gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with a garment, does not lend at interest or take any increase, withholds his hand from iniquity, executes true justice between man and man, walks in my statutes, and is careful to observe my ordinances— he is righteous, he shall surely live, says the Lord GOD. “If he begets a son who is a robber, a shedder of blood, he shall not live. He has done all these abominable things; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon himself. “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, says the Lord GOD” With this, therefore, it is obvious that nobody and nothing external can condemn any child of God. The only thing that can condemn one is sin. That is why St. Paul declares, “The wages of sin is death.” Child of God, as long as you are living a righteous life nobody, not even your parents can condemn you. God will not even condemn you because of the sins of your parents. Through you God name will be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, our Real Food
Our Lord Jesus Christ is not just our spiritual food; He is also our real food. In the gospel of John 6:51-58 Jesus declares, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.” There are some Churches that practices spiritual communion, that is communion without bread and wine. With what our Lord Jesus Christ said in today’s gospel it is obvious that this form of communion is incomplete. The Communion is real food and real drink. Whoever eat this food becomes one with our Lord Jesus Christ – He abides in Jesus and Jesus abides in him. Child of God, as you receive the flesh and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ you will surely become one and inseparable being with him. Through you God’s name will be glorified forever and ever – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You shall be surrounded with the Pillars of Wisdom
Wisdom is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a divine attribute. The book of Proverbs 9:1-6 declares, “Wisdom has built her house; she has set up her seven pillars. She has slaughtered her beasts, she has mixed her wine, she has also set her table. She has sent out her maids to call from the highest places in the town, Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” to him who is without sense she says, come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed. Leave suppleness, and live, and walk in the way of insight.” Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Wisdom of the Most High God. He is the One that has prepared a spiritual banquet for us. He invites those who are wearied to himself, saying, “Come to me all you who labour and are heavy leaden and I will give you rest.” Child of God, as you come to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Infinite Wisdom of God, you will never go hungry. You shall be satisfied and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Master of Eternal Life
Eternal Life is a heavenly reward. It is the reward for all the faithful. In the gospel of Matthew 19:16-22 our Lord Jesus Christ was asked, “Teacher, what good deed must I do, to have eternal life?” And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” He said to him, “Which?” And Jesus said, “You shall not kill, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honour your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” The young man said to him, “All these I have observed; what do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.” Child of God, the ball is in your court. If you truly want to have eternal life then you must be ready to share what you have with the poor ones, especially the less privileged. As you do so, it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You shall not eat the Bread Mourners
The Lord declares through the Prophet Ezekiel 24:15-24 “Son of man, behold, am about to take the delight of your eyes away from you at a stroke; yet you shall not mourn or weep nor shall your tears run down. Sigh, but not aloud; make no mourning for the dead. Bind on your turban, and put your shoes on your feet; do not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of mourners.” This was to be a lesson to the stubborn house of Israel. But as for those who are loyal to the Most High God there will be restoration of joy. Child of God, as long as you are living a righteous life you have nothing to fear. Adversity will not visit your home. The Lord will not allow you to eat the bread of mourners. It shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, our Re-warder
Reward is the recompense which awaits the faithful. It is the prize of good work. In the gospel of Matthew 19:23-30 Peter wanted to know his reward as an apostle. He asked Jesus, “Behold, we have left everything and followed you. What then shall we have?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of man shall sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. But many that are first will be last, and the last first.”Our Lord Jesus Christ is the One that will reward us on the last day. On that last day we shall sit on the thrones which He has prepared for us to judge the world. Whatever we must have sacrificed here on earth must be regained a hundredfold. Through us God’s name will be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Wicked are in Trouble
If you are a wicked man or woman, you are in trouble. You will never go unpunished. The Lord gave the following declarations concerning the wicked through the prophet Ezekiel 28:1-10 “Because you consider yourself as wise as a god, therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, the most terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendour. They shall thrust you down into the Pit, and you shall die the death of the slain in the heart of the seas. Will you still say, ‘I am a god,’ in the presence of those who slay you, though you are but a man, and no god, in the hands of those who wound you? You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of foreigners; for I have spoken, says the Lord GOD.” The worst thing anyone can do is to act as god to others. Pride goes before a fall! God will surely humiliate all the wicked and proud looking ones. He will bring them to a shameful end. And God’s name will be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Gracious Householder
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the most gracious Being the world has ever known. He is ever caring and considerate. He does not treat us according to our deeds. He treats us with love and care. In the gospel of Matthew 20:l-16 he told his disciples the parable of a householder who employed labourers at various times. When it was time to pay the labourers, out of pity he decided to pay the late comers the same amount he agreed with those who came early. When the early labourers grumbled he said to them, “Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what belongs to you, and go; I choose to give to this last as I give to you. Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’ So the last will be first, and the first last.” Indeed, our Lord is a generous giver. We have no right to question his generosity. He is free to be generous to anybody and in any way he wants. To our generous God be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Lord shall Rescue His Sheep
In the book of Ezekiel 34:1-11 the Lord declares, “Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and put a stop to their feeding the sheep; no longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them. “For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.” To whom much is given much is expected. Unfortunately most of those who are expected to cater for the flock of the Most High God are not faithful to their calling. Most of them are even greedy, and are only looking for money. They do not even care for the souls of the faithful and the lost sheep. That is why God has decided to cater for His sheep. He has come to rescue his sheep from their mouth. Child of God, the Lord will not allow the wolves to devour you. He will search for you and He will surely secure your life. As long as you are under his watching care, nothing shall ever harm you. It shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Son of a Great King
Our God is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the Alpha and Omega. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of peace. He is the Son of our great King. In the gospel of Matthew 22:1-14 Jesus told his followers the parable of a Kings who organized a wedding feast for his beloved son. Most of those who were invited could not attend the wedding they gave all kinds of excuses. The King invited all kinds of people to ensure that the wedding hall was filled up. The King ordered his attendants to “Go to the streets, and invite to the marriage feast as many as you find.’ And those servants went out into the streets and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good; so the wedding hall was filled with guests.” Child of God, do you know that you are among those who are invited to the wedding feast in heaven? Do you even know that now is the best time to prepare for your wedding garment? Without your wedding garment you cannot be admitted into the wedding hall. As you prepare for your wedding garment through a life of holiness and fidelity God will richly bless you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Lord will give you a New Heart
The Lord God has remembered you. He has come to restore you. The Lord declares through the prophet Ezekiel 36:23-28, “For I will take you from the nations, and gather you from all the countries, and bring you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances. You shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.” Child of God, your period of exile is over! The Lord will bring you back into your own land. He will cleanse you and give you a new heart. He will be your God and through you, His name will be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!
