Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Long Expected Messiah
The gospel of John 1:45-51 presents our Lord Jesus Christ as the Long-expected Messiah. Philip told Nathanael, “We have found him of whom Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, “Come and see. Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile. Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God. You are the King of Israel! Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these. And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.” Jesus Christ is the One whom the prophet Isaiah wrote about. As Nathanael rightly declared, He is the Son of God and the King of Israel. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Prophetic Message: Your name is written in Heaven
We are celebrating today the feast of Bartholomew, one of the great apostles whose name was written in heaven. In the book of Revelation 21:9-14 the Lord told John, “Come, I will show you the Bride, The wife of the Lamb.” And in the Spirit, he carried me away to a great, high mountain, And showed me the holy city Jerusalem Coming down out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed; on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Child of God, do you know that your name is among those who are written in heaven? In the book of Isaiah 43:1-2 the Lord declares that He has called you by name you belong to him. As long as you are connected with Christ Jesus nobody can remove your name from the book of life. It shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Teacher of teachers
In the gospel of Matthew 23:1-12 our Lord Jesus Christ told his followers, “But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called masters, for you have one master, the Christ. He who is greatest among you shall be your servant; whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
There are so many teachers in the world but there is only One Teacher, His name is Jesus! There are so many fathers in the world but there is one Father, His name is God Almighty. There are so many masters in the world but there is One Master; His name is Jesus. He is the Teacher of teachers, Father of fathers and Master of Masters. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Prophetic Message: God’s Glory shall envelope you
In the book of Ezekiel 43:l-7 the prophet recounts how he experienced the glory of God: “The angel brought me to the gate, the gate facing east. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the east; and the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory… As the glory of the Lord entered the temple by the gate facing east, the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple. While the man was standing beside me, I heard one speaking to me out of the temple; and he said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel forever.” Child of God, the glory of the Most High God will come down upon you. Wherever you are right now you will surely experience the glory of God. And with the glory of the Lord you have nothing to fear. The favour of the Most High God will dwell in your land and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the One with the Message of Eternal Life
When our Lord Jesus Christ was in the world He did not allow anybody to influence him. He was a Man of his word. He stood his ground even when others were against him. In the gospel of John 6:60-69 when he told the people the undiluted truth most of his disciples abandoned him. Jesus said to the Twelve, “Will you also go away?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” Indeed, our Lord Jesus Christ possesses the truth. He is the only One that has the message of eternal life. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You have a Choice
There is freedom of worship, freedom of religion and freedom of association. In the book of Joshua 24:14-17 Joshua said to all the people, “If you be unwilling to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Child of God, do you know that you are a free being? Do you know that nobody has the right to force you to serve any god against your will? The best choice one can make in this life is to serve the Living God. As you serve the Living God your life will be secured and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Courageous and Fearless Preacher
There are so many preachers in the world but there is only One courageous Preacher, his name is Jesus! When he was in the world he preached the undiluted word of God. In the gospel of Matthew 23:13-22 he declares, ““Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither enter yourselves, nor allow those who would enter to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you traverse sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves. “Woe to you, blind guides…” The people our Lord Jesus Christ was preaching to were the religious and political leaders of his time. Jesus was a fearless preacher. He is the Man with the highest authority. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Prophetic Message: We thank God for your Life
Do you know that your life is the most precious gift on earth? Do you there is something special about you? Do you even know that your life is meant to bring glory to God’s name? In his second letter to the Thessalonians 1:1-5, llb-12 St. Paul declares, “We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. Therefore we ourselves boast of you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you are enduring. This is evidence of the righteous judgement of God, that you may be made worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. May our God make you worthy of his call, and fulfill every good resolve and work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you.” One of the reasons why St. Paul is thanking God for you is because of your increased in faith. The more your faith in God increases the more your life is bringing glory to God. Your love for your fellow human being is another reason why God must be glorified. As you remain faithful and steadfast, God will richly bless you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus confronts the Scribes and Pharisees
The Scribes and Pharisees thought they were untouchable and so they were behaving as they like, oppressing the poor and teaching what they could not practice. In the gospel of Matthew 23:23-26 Jesus confronts them, saying, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law, justice and mercy and faith; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of extortion and rapacity. You blind Pharisee! first cleanse the inside of the cup and of the plate, that the outside also may be clean.” With this direct confrontation our Lord Jesus Christ further proved to the world that he a fearless and prophetic preacher. He preaches the undiluted word of God. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: STAND FIRM!
Psalm 125:1 declares, They that trust in the Lord are like Mount sion that cannot be shaken.” If you are a child of God you must be firm. Nothing can shake you. In his letter second letter to Thessalonians 2:l-3a, 14-17 St. Paul declares, “Let no one deceive you in any way. God has called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.” Child of God, do not allow anybody to deceive you or even intimidate you. As St. Paul rightly advised, Stand firm! Hold unto the truth. As you do so, the truth shall set you free and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: The Passion of Jesus & John the Baptist.
The church celebrates the passion of two great men in a very special way, one is the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ followed by that of John the Baptist. Both of them were Kingdom preachers. They came to prepare people for the coming of God’s kingdom. They lived a life of penance and self-detachment. Their message carries fire. They were courageous preachers. They did not leave any stone unturned. The political and religious leaders were against their message. John was beheaded because he told Herod the undiluted truth that was wrong for him to kill brother and marry his late brother’s wife. Jesus was crucified because he told His fellow Jews that He was the Son of God and that He was the long expected Messiah. They crucified him but after three day he rose again. Even after the death of John the Baptist Herod saw the spirit of John the Baptist alive in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. With the death and resurrection of these two great men it was obvious that truth cannot be destroyed. Child of God, as you defend the truth God’s name will be glorified and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You are a Fortified City
Do you know that you are not an ordinary human being? Do you know that you are a prophet of the Most High God? As a prophet of God, do you know that nobody can harm you? As long as God is concerned your life is secured. In the book of Jeremiah 1:17—19 the Lord declares, “Gird up your loins; arise and say to them everything that I command you. Do not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them. And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its princes, its priests, and the people of the land. They will fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, says the LORD, to deliver you.” Child of God, as a prophet of the Most High God, you are a fortified city. Those who are fighting against you are wasting their time. They will never prevail against you. The Lord must surely deliver you from the hands of your enemies and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus and his Second Coming
The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is close at home. Any moment from now the rapture will take place. As for when this will happen Jesus told his followers, Matthew 24:42-51 “Watch, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the householder had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Since we do not know exactly when the Lord will be coming then we need to be ready at all times. We should not allow his coming to take us unawares. Child of God, as you prepare for the Second Coming of Christ, God will richly bless you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: I thank God for you!
In his first letter to the Corinthians 1:1-9 St. Paul declares, “We give thanks to God always for you because of the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him with all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony to Christ was confirmed among you so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ; who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Child of God, I join St. Paul to thank God for your life. I thank God for his grace upon your life. I thank God for your enrichment. I thank Him for all the spiritual gifts He has bestowed upon you. Above all, I thank God for you salvation. May God’s name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!
