THE BROADWAY OF THE EARTHLY RACE!

The race that is set before all Christians is not the earthly race but the heavenly race, which, they are advised in HEBREWS 12:1, to run with patience, along the narrow way that will lead them to heaven, where they will receive their crown of life. But unfortunately, majority of Christians have been disqualified from the heavenly race because they have left this narrow way into the broad-way of the earthly race, that is now leading them to destruction. The broad-way accommodates all ungodliness and worldly lusts, for example, masculine women wearing that which pertaineth unto men and effeminate men putting on that which pertaineth unto women, and ALL THAT DO SO, ARE ABOMINATION UNTO THE LORD, OUR GOD, as written in DEUTERONOMY 22:5.

In MATTHEW 4:8, the devil, in his craftiness, tempted Jesus with the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them, so as to seduce Him away from the narrow way of this heavenly race into the broad-way of the earthly race but Jesus overcame this temptation with the word of truth, which is the sword of the Spirit. But Demas, a co-labourer with Apostle Paul, could not overcome this temptation because he loved this present world, as written in 2 TIMOTHY 4:10a, and I quote, “FOR DEMAS HATH FORSAKEN ME, HAVING LOVED THIS PRESENT WORLD.” Demas disqualified himself from the heavenly race to run the earthly race, with the people of the world. And so it is, today that many Christians, especially many “men of God” have disqualified themselves from this heavenly race, to run the earthly race, because of their love for money and their love for the glories of this present world, which has brought them into friendship with the world, thereby becoming the enemies of God, as written in JAMES 4:4, and the enemies of the cross of Christ, whose God is now their belly, as written in PHILIPPIANS 3:18-19.
Their hearts are pre-occupied with just laying up, for themselves, treasures, here on earth, with the false hope that their lives will be measured by the abundance of the things which they will possess here on earth. But this is not so, because, in LUKE 12:15, Jesus warns, and I quote, “TAKE HEED AND BEWARE OF COVETOUSNESS: FOR A MAN’S LIFE CONSISTETH NOT IN THE ABUNDANCE OF THE THINGS WHICH HE POSSESSETH.” And the Spirit of God says in COLOSSIANS 3:5, that covetousness is idolatry. The truth is that the lives of genuine men of God and indeed, of all genuine Christians, consist in the abundant knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, which they possess. In MATTHEW 13:11, it is written and I quote, “BECAUSE IT IS GIVEN UNTO YOU TO KNOW THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BUT TO THEM IT IS NOT GIVEN.” These mysteries of the kingdom of heaven are the true spiritual riches, that will endure forever.

Judas, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus, disqualified himself from the heavenly race that was set before him because of his love for money, which made him to get himself unequally yoked with the unbelieving chief priests, who gave him money to betray Jesus, the Truth.
And so, like Judas, many men of God, today, because of the love of money, have betrayed the truth, by being unequally yoked with rich unbelievers, for material gains. While some have SOLD the truth, by being unequally yoked with politicians, to run with them this earthly political race. And unknown to them, they have disqualified themselves from the heavenly race that was set before them. Men of God and indeed all Christians, are admonished by God to flee from the love of money and from the love of this present world, which includes love of partisan politics. They are also warned not to get themselves unequally yoked with unbelievers, as written in 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14-18, so that they can run this heavenly race to the end. The mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, are things of the Spirit. Therefore, ANY BELIEVER IN CHRIST, who has not the Spirit of truth, cannot receive the things of the Spirit, for they are foolishness unto him. He cannot know them because the things of the Spirit, especially these mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, which are the hidden truths in the bible, are spiritually discerned!
And some of these mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, given to us by Jesus Christ, are the Doctrine of SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD and its ungodly and worldly celebrations, the Doctrine of SANCTITY OF THE BED BEFORE AND AFTER MARRIAGE, the Doctrine of SELF-DENIAL, taking up the cross to follow Jesus, and the doctrine of LET THE DEAD BURY THEIR DEAD, as written in LUKE 9:60, and I quote, “Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead; but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.”

Christians, who are born of the Spirit of God, need to examine themselves in the light of the word of truth, if they are in the faith, still running this heavenly race, because the Spirit has spoken expressly, in 1 TIMOTHY 4:1, that in these latter days, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of the devil. And if they must run the race and take the kingdom of heaven, they must be violent against the sin of the love of the world and its vain glories, against fleshly lusts which are always at war with the souls of Christians, as written in 1 PETER 2:11, and they must take their stand, not to compromise their faith, as it concerns the tradition of the land, because it transgresses the commandment of God, as written in MATTHEW 15:3, and I quote, “WHY DO YE ALSO TRANSGRESS THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD BY YOUR TRADITION?”
THE HEAVENLY RACE AND THE EARTHLY RACE ARE TWO PARALLEL RACES. NO MAN CAN RUN THE TWO RACES AT THE SAME TIME. IT IS EITHER HE WILL HATE THE HEAVENLY RACE AND BE DISQUALIFIED OR LOVE THE EARTHLY RACE AND BE ETERNALLY CONDEMNED OR ELSE HE WILL HOLD ON TO THE HEAVENLY RACE AND THEN, DESPISE THE EARTHLY RACE.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. This is a warning from Jesus to all churches, as written in REVELATION 3:22.
