BENIN CITY- The Edo State Police Command has arrested and paraded six lesbians and six homosexual partners for their involvement in the abominable and shameful act punishable by law as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution with a 14 year jail term if found guilty.
It was gathered that the same sex lovers where arrested in different locations in Benin City, Edo State for practicing lesbianism and homosexuality an act punishable by law and against the culture and traditions of the people of the State.
Investigation revealed that the homosexuals arrested include; Samson Atunda, Felix Ehigiator, Osakpolor Matins, Ebobawaye Solomon, Edobor Henry and Newton Osayuki. The lesbians includes Esther Festus, Charity Iyere, Jennifer Okundia, Rosemary Iyoha, Lilian Idowu and Yemisi Collins.
The twelve arrested persons have all confessed to the crime implicating some other persons who they said introduce them into the act and regretted their involvement in the act.
Speaking to journalist on her involvement, one of the lesbian arrested, Jennifer Okundia said she is a final year student of Ambrose Ali University(AAU), Ekpoma, and was part of the member’s of the syndicate group headed by Tina Boms.
“Our leader, Tina Boms was one that introduced me and three others into the act. I was recruited as a member into the group through one of my lesbian friend Stella Orlumati who is a graduate of Igbinedion University, Okada. We are recruiting willing lesbians and connecting them with rich business ladies and women politicians to satisfy their sexual drive for financial gratification”.
Okundia who begged for mercy said she became part of the syndicate because she use the money she gets to train herself and her siblings in school as they no longer have parents.
One of the homosexual Felix Ehigiator who escaped arrest, but was later re-arrested and seriously beaten by angry mob and volunteered to speak to our correspondent said he is not new to the act as he has been involved in the act for over three years now and has made good money sleeping with influential politicians who are gay. He boasted that his rich and influential politician lovers will get him off the hook because they are already aware.
It will be recall that the implicated Tina Boms has been on the wanted list of the Nigerian Police as published in The NIGERIAN OBSERVER Newspaper of September 4th, 2017 and she is still on the run.
The Nigerian Police Force has placed a handsome reward on any vital information that will lead to her arrest to ensure she face justice while the twelve same sex partners will appear in court soon.
