BENIN CITY – The Edo Acting Governor, Mr Philip Shaibu, on Friday in Benin flagged off the use of two towing vans and three motorcycles in Egor Local Government Area of the state.

Shaibu said the use of the vehicles would enhance the local government administration and aid the revenue collectors in performing their duties.

The acting governor said that they would ultimately help increase the revenue profile of the local government.

He lauded the developmental strides of the local government Chairman, Egeh Ogbemudia for executing different projects beneficial to the people.

He called on the people to support the council boss in moving the local government forward, and assured them that the State Government would continue to develop the state, including the area.

Earlier, Ogbemudia, promised to do everything within her powers execute more projects in the area.

“I am committed to the legacy of my late father, Samuel Ogbemudia. I will serve and bring development to the good people of Egor local government area,” she said.
