CHRISTOLOGY:  JESUS, OUR COMFORTER

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the most caring and most friendly Man the world has ever known. He comforts us in all our troubles.  In the gospel of John 14:1 he told his followers, “Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.” Worry is the most frustrating experience in the world. It has little or nothing to offer. No amount of worry can solve our problem. It can only lead to hypertension and other complications.

Our Lord Jesus Christ does not want you to develop hypertension. He does not want you to be depressed. He does not even want you to experience any sickness. He wants you to enjoy life in abundance (John 10:10). That is why He is telling you, “let not your hearts be troubled.” Avoid worry and anything that will lead to stress!

Faith in God is all you need and not worry! instead of worrying pray to God. Believe in God and believe in Christ Jesus, and it shall be well with you.

Child of God, may God deliver you from the spirit of worry. I cancel all forms misery and anxiety. and may God grant you inner peace and inner joy through Jesus Christ our Lord – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE:  GOD WILL SURELY FULFILL HIS PROMISE IN YOUR LIFE:

Our God is a Covenant keeping God. He can never fail. He fulfils all his promises. In Acts       13:26-33 St. Paul told the people of Antioch, “We bring you the good news that what God promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus.” The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed a promise fulfilled. With the resurrection of Christ our future is secured and our hope is restored. Child of God, all the promises the Lord has made for you and for your family must be fulfilled this year; and it must be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

CHRISTOLOGY: JESUS, SAME WITH THE FATHER (John 14:7-14)

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the second Person of the Blessed Trinity. He is One with God the Father. Jesus told Philip, “Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.” God the father and God the son are not different Beings. They are not separate entities. They are One and the same Being. To have seen Jesus is to have seen the father.

Faith in Christ Jesus is equally faith in God. The work of our Lord Jesus Christ is the work of the Father. Faith in the work of our Lord Jesus Christ is faith in the Father. Jesus is indeed the Second Person of the Trinity. He is a Divine Being. He is God! To Him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: YOU WILL BE GLAD

Happiness and joy are the value which every human being aspires to possess. We need happiness more than we need wealth. In fact, money cannot even buy happiness. Happiness is a divine gift. It comes from God and God alone!

As long as our happiness is from God nothing can take away our happiness. No amount of persecution can steal our happiness. According to the book of Acts the Apostles 13:49-52, “the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. 51 But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” The early disciples were persecuted, especially by the Jewish authority but they were not discouraged. They remained resolute.

Child of God, there is no room for sadness in your life. There is no more room for anger and bitterness. No amount of persecution can frustrate you. From today, you will be filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit. You will rejoice! You will be glad!! You will sing and dance for joy!!! And it shall be well with you in Jesus name  – Amen!

CHRISTOLOGY:  JESUS, THE GLORIFIED SON OF GOD

Glory is the splendor and magnificent presence of God. It is the closest revelation of God’s presence. God reveals his hidden presence through His glory. Glory is therefore the essence of Divine presence. Our God is a glorious God!

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the glorified Son of God. In the gospel of John 13:31-35 Jesus told his disciples, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him. 32 If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediately.”

Jesus was glorified by God the Father. The glorification of our Lord Jesus Christ is the glorification of God, the Father. This is true of every authentic child of God. God’s glory is made manifest in the glory of His children. When a child of God is glorified, His glory brings glory to God.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said in the gospel of John 15:8, “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” The more fruitful we are the more we are glorified and the more we are glorified the more God is glorified. (As the song gospel: Jesus must be honoured must be honoured, must be honoured. Jesus must be honoured in my life every day. Indeed, our God must be glorified in our daily lives. He must be glorified in our families. He must be glorified in your marital life. He must be glorified in your business. He must be glorified in all journeys. He must be glorified wherever you find yourself.

Child of God, from today, your life will surely bring glory to God. Through you, God’s name will be glorified and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: You must Testify!

The early Church was built on testimonies. Most of the things recorded in Acts of the Apostles were testimonies of the Lord’s marvelous deeds. “When they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” 23 So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. 24 And after they had passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. 25 Now when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had completed. 27 Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.” This report by the early apostles is what I call testimony. As they proclaim the deeds of the Lord, God’s name was glorified the more.

Child of God, it is your turn to testify. The disciples did not stop testifying you will never stop testifying. From today, you will continue to testify. Nobody can silent you. Your testimony will bring glory to God’s name and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

CHRISTOLOGY:   JESUS,  THE FOR-RUNNER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

One of the reasons why our Lord Jesus came into the World was to reveal the fullness of God head. He came to connect us with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. In the gospel of John 14:21-26 our Lord Jesus Christ introduced the Holy Spirit to his followers as our Counsellor, He said to them “These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” The Holy Spirit is indeed our Counsellor.

One of the major role of the Holy Spirit, according to our Lord Jesus Christ is the role of a Teacher. When the Holy Spirit comes He will teach us everything. In his letter to the Romans 8:26 St. Paul presents the Holy Spirit as the One who teaches us how to pray. As the Holy Spirit continues to teach us may God’s name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: THAT SPIRIT OF STAGNATION IS OVER

In Acts 14:5-18 St. Paul encountered a crippled man, a man who could not use his feet, he was cripple from birth, who had never walked. He was stagnant. As Paul was preaching, he listened attentively to Paul; and Paul, looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well, said in a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And he sprang up and walked.” That was the end of stagnation in his life!

Child of God, the yoke of stagnation in your life is over. Any part of your body that is not walking will start walking. Those things that are not moving will start moving. Your business and your family are freed from the spirit of stagnation in Jesus name – Amen!

CHRISTOLOGY:  JESUS, THE AUTHOR OF PEACE

The Prophet Isaiah 9:6 presents our Lord Jesus Christ as the Prince of peace: “He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Our Lord Jesus Christ is not just the Prince of peace He is also the author of peace and the giver of peace.

In the gospel of John 14:27 Jesus said to his disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” The world cannot give peace. Instead, in the name of peace keeping they will use more violence, which has nothing to do with peace. Jesus Christ is a non-violent Messiah.

Child of God, you need inner peace. The only way you can experience inner peace is to hearken to our Lord Jesus Christ. Let not your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid, as you do this God will fill your heart with inner peace and it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE:  THE ENEMIES CANNOT KILL YOU

In Acts 14:19-28 the Jews persuaded the people to stone Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead. But when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and entered the city. Imagine, the crowd of people could not kill Paul even after stoning him.

Child of God, nobody can kill you. Let them throw their stone, let them throw their charm, let them even throw their bomb, but they will not succeed in destroying your life.  No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. You shall live to see your children’s children and it shall be will with you in Jesus name – Amen!

CHRISTOLOGY:  JESUS, THE TRUE VINE

A vine is a tree with so many branches. The life of each branch of this tree is sustained by the tree itself. The branch cannot exist without the Vine. In John chapter 15 our Lord Jesus Christ said to his disciples, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He [a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Child of God, do you know that you are a branch in Christ Jesus? Do you know that you cannot survive without Jesus? Do you even know that your fruitfulness depends on Christ Jesus? If you want to bear much fruit then you must come to Jesus. He said, ” He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit.” From today, you will start bearing much fruit!

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only One that can make you fruitful. He said, “Apart from me you can do nothing.” Without Jesus Christ you are empty, you are nothing! Life without Christ is already in crisis.

Child of God, never you allow anything or anybody to separate you from Christ Jesus. As you attach yourself to Jesus He will make you fruitful. The more fruitful you are, the more God’s name will be glorified and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: YOU SHALL TESTIFY

The book of Revelation chapter 12 declares, We are delivered by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of our testimony. Testimonies open doors for other testimonies. The more we testify the more God will bless us. We shall have more reason to testify.

In Acts 15:1-6, Paul and Barnabas came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the Church and the apostles and the elders, and they declared all that God had done with them. Paul and Barnabas testified to the goodness of God; they narrated all that God did for them and with them.

Child of God, from today you shall testify. People will soon hear your testimony. Wherever you go the Lord’s goodness and mercy shall follow you and you shall declare the goodness of the Lord forever and ever – Amen!

CHRISTOLOGY: JESUS, THE BELOVED SON OF THE FATHER

In the gospel of John 15:9-11 our Lord Jesus Christ said to his disciples, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love.” from this statement we can comfortably deduce the three essential aspect of love.

  1. LOVE OF GOD THE FATHER (The Father loves Jesus) St. John wrote, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only beloved Son. Jesus Christ is the Beloved Son of the Father. God loved him so much that He gave him all authority and all things into his hands (Matthew 28:18).
  2. LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST: (Jesus loves you) He loves you so much that he laid his life for you. In the gospel of John 15:13 he said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Child of God, if Jesus could lay down his life for you there is nothing he cannot do for you – because he loves you!
  3. CHRISTIAN’S LOVE: (Abide in God’s love) Love is reciprocal. Since Jesus loves you the only way to show appreciation is to remain in his love. Let nothing separate you from the love of Christ Jesus. And as you abide in his love may God’s name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: SIGNS AND WONDERS SHALL FOLLOW YOU

One thing that is peculiar with the early Apostles which is lacking in most Churches today, especially Catholic Church, is the account of signs and wonders (Testimony). According to the author of Acts 15:7-21 , “all the assembly kept silence; and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.” God performed so many signs and wonders among the early apostles and they were not silent over them. They shared their testimonies with the rest of the apostles. Some of those testimonies is what we are reading today in the bible.

Child of God, from today signs and wonders shall follow you. You shall testify to the goodness of the Lord. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
