BENIN CITY- informed by the need to improve its collaboration and partnership with the Edo State Government and other stakeholders so as to  complementing the developmental efforts of Governor Godwin Obaseki, the Management team of Sirbanks corporate Limited has donated sixty pieces of reflective vests and thirty-five pieces of rain coats to the Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA).

Presenting the items, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sirbanks Corporate Limited, Comrade Onome Kenneth Shalokpe disclosed that the Media Business Unit of the  company also offered a 12 months free outdoor-media public service announcement/publicity on Sirbanks outdoor digital LED screens to EDSTMA.

Shalokpe who described Sirbanks as a fast growing media and transportation company headquarted in Benin City, said the company found EDSTMA worth of partnership, adding that EDSTMA came top when his company was contemplating its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the year 2019.

Responding, the Managing Director, EDSTMA, Dannis Oloriegbe lauded the management of Sirbanks’ decision to partner with his agency, maintaining that such partnership would help in strengthen the operational activities of the agency in terms of traffic control.

Oloriegbe who received the items on behalf of the agency described the items as necessary safety tools needed for the smooth operation of the agencies, just as he expressed delight that the gesture was coming at a time the agency needed them most.

The EDSTMA boss who further described the event as first of its kind pointed out that Sirbanks Corporate Limited remains the first company on record to have extended such gesture to the agency through CSR.

He, however, called on other stakeholders in the state to emulate the initiative of Sirbanks’ and assured the items would be used judiciously.
