BENIN CITY- Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS) has announced the receipt of new number plates.
Head, Corporate Communications Unit, EIRS, Eboigbe Courage, in a statement made available to the Nigerian Observer Newspaper, announced the receipt of a new supply of plate numbers from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Eboigbe stated that the categories received were private and commercial number plates.
He affirmed that the number plates supplied had been distributed to all EIRS number plate issuing offices across the State at “Forestry Road, Oba Ovoramwen Square, New Lagos Road, Uselu, Sapele Road, Ramat Park, TV Road, Okada, Ekpoma, Uromi and Auchi.”
He called on all interested motorists to visit the mentioned Motor Licensing Offices to register or renew their vehicle particulars. He advised against patronizing of touts.
However, he informed motorists desirous of making enquiries or complaints on the sale of number plates above official rate to call 0813 097 0146.
