BENIN CITY – Ahead of the 2019 Edo Trade Fair, the Benin Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BENCIMMA) yesterday sued for collaboration with the Bendel Newspaper Company Limited (BNCL) Publishers of the Nigerian Observer.
This was disclosed by the President of BENCCIMA, Dr. (Mrs.) H.E. Atekha- Odemwingie who led other executive members to a courtesy visit to Bendel Newspaper Company Limited (BNCL) Corporate Headquarters.
The group president who was represented by its Vice President, Mr. Igbe Okoro Osayande, said that the objectives of the chamber is to attracts potential investors to Edo State and generate employment for youths/adults of the state through the Trade Fair.
He disclosed that the 2019 Edo Trade fair is scheduled to hold from Thursday, November 7 to Wednesday 20, 2019 at the Trade Fair Permanent site, Aerodrome close, off Goodwill Street, off Ekenwan Road, Benin city.
Osayande solicited for active participation of The Nigerian Observer towards promoting products and services of participants as well as Full blast daily publicity of the Trade Fair.
“The Executive Council is here today (yesterday) to humbly solicit your cooperation for active participation by having a stand in this year’s Trade Fair to effectively promote the products and services of participants to the public.
“Partner with BENCCIMA in other programmes, aimed at promoting the economy of Edo State” , he said.
The BENCCIMA Vice President, however, informed that the that the Chamber has established Farmers Market at the Trade Fair Complex for the Buying and selling of organic food items at reduced prices and called on public patronage.
Responding, the Acting General Manager of BNCL, Sir (Barr) Solomon Imohiense while commending the people for the visit promised the chamber of full accurate and objectives coverage during and after the Trade Fair exhibition.
Barr Imohiense disclosed that the Edo State Government is poised to enlarging the Newspaper Company, adding that the NIGERIAN OBSERVER which is online has over four million readership online.
