JATTU (ETSAKO WEST) – Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has enjoined parishioners of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Jattu, to remain steadfast in their faith and always pray for their children.

Speaking to parishioners at the 2019, “Harvest of divine upliftment,” the Deputy Governor who doubled as the special guest of honour stated,”Your prayers for me has done much in pushing me on in government, this simply shows that God answers your prayers.”

Stating that God was universal, he disclosed that he chose to partake of the harvest ceremony of his birth parish as a means of reconnecting with his roots with his offerings and thanksgiving.

He encouraged them to always pray to God to bless their children and the work of their hands even as he made his personal donation to the church.

He was assisted in this duty by the governor who sent word across and other officials of government who included the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, Esq, commissioners and local government chairmen from Edo North.
