A New Generation Church Rased By Fire, Some Members, Documents Burnt.

ASABA – Score of Worshipers sustained minor burnt as a new generation Church, Charismatic Renewal Ministries INC. went on flame during Church service on Sunday in Asaba, Delta State.

The fire which affected a section of the Church also burnt some vital documents in the Church also known as Transformation Faith Centre.

The church is located at No. 35 Biosa Amantu Street, off Jesus Saves road, Oshimili south local government area of the State.

According to sources who spoke with Niger Delta Today on Monday, the fire broke out in one of the rooms in the Church complex where a phone was plugged and kept on top of a mattress.

But it was not clear whether the plugged phone cut fire in the process, or “it was the devil’s hands at work”, the sources added.

Men of the state fire service were on ground to safe the situation after a section was gulfed by the inferno which destroyed some documents.

Some members of the Church were hard on people taking shots of the burning Church, saying “our pastor would not allow it.
