ILAJE – The candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in the 2019 Houses of Assembly elections, Emmanuel Oluwaseyi Lebile has resigned his membership from the party.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Adebayo Martins, Lebile thanked the leadership of ZLP and former governor of the state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, for their “support”.

Lebile, who contested to represent Ilaje Constituency II in the Ondo State House of Assembly, said that Ilaje has “suffered neglect over the years” hence his decision to “move forward politically” for the overall interest of the people.

According to Lebile, participation in the October 10 Ondo state governorship election as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is of paramount interest to his political camp.

The activist, cum politician urged his supporters to remain calm as he continues with consultations, adding that his next line of action would be communicated soon.
