… Obaseki support made this possible – LGA boss

BENIN CITY – The Enogie of Umoghun Zugbor community, Orhionmwon LGA, Edo state, HRH Kingsley Igbinosa Iyayomwengbe has commended the Gov of Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki for his footprint across council, just like he asked for Gov to speed up the actualization of the dualization of Benin Abraka road.

He said the developmental strides visible in the LGA is trackable to the close ally and relationship between Gov Obaseki and Hon Okoro.

HRH Iyayomwengbe stated this during the commissioning of Umoghun Zugbor community market with over 80 store spaces at the community in Orhionmwon.

According to him, ‘My council chairman Hon Okoro is very much like the the executive governor of the state Mr Obaseki, he has decided be excellently well. This very market we are commissioning today is not refinished one but a new market from the foundation to completion. Obaseki can not disappoint the people.

While congratulating the Gov on the outcome of the September 19 guber election, HRH Iyayomwengbe humbly requested his excellency to look into the condition and situation of the dilapidated Benin Abraka road, electricity which he noted would place the council in pole position as part of LGA with major development.

Briefing the Enogie, the LGA boss Hon Sylvester Okoro said the commission of the market is just a tip of the iceberg owning to his developmental plans and blueprint for the people of Orhionmwon.

He commended the Gov for his developmental moves which putting Orhionmwon and the villages therein for massive goodies.

He assured the people of Gov Obaseki readiness to do more for the people of the council.

‘If not for the support his excellency and my cabinet members at the LGA level I wouldn’t have been able to do this….

Hon Okoro also hosted the people to a funfair victory party at is country home in Umoghun Zugbor community in reward for their votes for the just concluded guber election…
