BENIN-CITY – The Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria (AMELTAN), Edo State branch has felicitated with the State Governor, Mr Goodwin Obaseki and his deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu on their election and subsequent swearing-in for a second term of office.
In a goodwill message to the governor, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Benin City, the association wished the governor and his deputy well.
The message which was signed by the Chairman, Mr. Edorhe Omogbai; Vice Chairman, Mr Osagbaroghe Victor Igiogbe and Secretary, Mrs. Tessy Ikuoyemwen Imadonmwinyi recalled with satisfaction, the giant strides of the governor Obaseki’s led government during the first tenure.
The association urged the governor, with his team to focus more on job creation for the teeming unemployed youths, especially in the health sector.
According to the association, “It is a consensus that your government scored very high in many areas, especially in infrastructural development during your first four years in office and we, members of the association urge you to sustain the tempo.
“Our prayer is that God Almighty endow you with wisdom and foresight to be able to surpass your first term achievements,” the association stated.
