ASABA – There was a mild drama at the Delta State Football Summit on Wednesday as the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Pinnick and a sport guru, Mr. Harry Ijala, almost turned the summit into boxing arena when they engaged in heated quarrel which distrupted the program for about 20 minutes.

At the Summit, Pinnick labasted his perceived enemies who had been a stumbling block to Sports career over the years, but advised them to desist from such envil acts

The NFF Boss said while delivery his speech that he would have long been the acting president of the Confederation of African Footballv( CAR) if not for the pull him down syndrome from people from his home state, who had resulted to attark him each time he moves for any position.

Mr. Amaju said that people did not believe he would attain the position of the CAF Acting President.

He took time to explain that the difficulties he went through to get to the position he is presently position, and advised Mr Harry Ajala to desist from dragging people especially football stakeholders to Court.

After the outburst of Mr. Amaju, Harry Ajala challenged him, in the process, both stood up to fight, but the intervention of the state commissioner of youths, Mr Ifeanyi Egwuyanga who represented Governor Ifeanyi Okowa safe day.

And as they were separated, Pinnick was visibly fumy, and fiecefully work out while is opponent was dragged to his seat.

Meanwhile, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has expressed lamentation over the declined in sports – especially football, boxing , wrestling, weight lifting as well as track and field .

Okowa said, ” it is petinent to state that abysmal performance of our national team in the recent international sports meet, particularly football world cup, African Nations cup and African club competition is in deed a serious cause for concern.
