No fewer than 7 members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been confirmed dead in Orsu community in Imo State after soldiers of the Nigerian army attacked and disrupted a secret operation of the group.
The proscribed IPOB , according to sources, which was led by Uche Solomon has Ugokwe Amaechi , Ugonna Amadin , Tony Uchenna , Orji Obinna and Arinze Ohabusim as members.
Others are Lawrence Okon , Peter Maduekwe , Harrison Otti , Nnamani Theodore, Praise Nnwanfor and Nkech i Amaka Okoro.
The members of the proscribed IPOB were raided on January 15th 2021 following intelligence gathering on the activities of the group in the community, a source confirmed.
According to further information made available, 7 members of the group were confirmed dead during the attack by the Nigerian army as other members scampered for safety.
Meanwhile, confirmed reports made available revealed that the following members of the group had been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police for unlawful gathering and acts to commit treasonable felony against constituted authority.
The wanted members of the group who are indigenes of Orlu local government area in Imo State are the leader of the group in Orsu community known as Uche Solomon while others are Ugokwe Amaechi , Ugonna Amadin , Tony Uchenna , Orji Obinna and Arinze Ohabusim as members.
Others are Lawrence Okon , Peter Maduekwe , Harrison Otti , Nnamani Theodore, Praise Nnwanfor and Nkech i Amaka Okoro.
