BENIN CITY – The Chief Coach of Bendel Insurance FC of Benin Benard Ogbe has attributed his side’s 1-0 defeat to Crown FC of Ogbomosho to bad pitch.

The Benin Arsenal manager said this in a post match interview with journalists at the Lautech Sports Complex Ogbomosho, insisting that it will be difficult for any visiting professionals to comfortably execute their plans on such dry and bumpy pitch.

According to him, ” I wonder if NNL Inspection committee visited the Lautech Sports Complex before they approved it to host any NNL game. It was too bad for us to play. Apart from the bad pitch, that penalty awarded to our host happened outside the box but there was nothing we could do about the decision. We will now shift our attention to the next match in Benin. ” He reacted.

He however expressed confidence that his team will bounce back against J.Atete who will be visiting the Benin arsenal at the weekend.
