BENIN CITY: The Benin Monarch ,His Royal Majesty ,Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpokpolo, Ewuare II has congratulates muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
This was contain in a Palace press release signed by the Ag.Chief Press Secretary to the Oba of Benin, Mr Ogiemwanre Victor made available to The Nigerian Observer.
His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare II fervently prayed God and the ancestors to answer all the prayers, fasting and supplications offered during the period particularly against insecurity in and around the country Nigeria.
The Oba also urged the muslim leaders across the globe to remain prayerful for peace to triump over evil and for peace to reign all over humanity.
While expressing believes,hope that the muslims prayers and fasting during the Ramadan period will soon manifest positively in the social – polical economy of Nigeria ,His Royal Majesty ,Oba Ewuare II then wish muslimsa happy Eld el fitri celebrations which mark the end of Ramadan.
