Oza – The member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode federal constituency at the House of representatives, Hon. Patrick Aisowieren has empowered no fewer than 200 persons in Orhionmwon axis with motorcycles and electricity generating sets.

The empowerment which was done over the weekend at Oza in Orhionmwon local governments area of Edo State also involved the donation of a Toyota Sienna to the head (Odionza) of Oza community, Chief Amadin Idehen.

According to Aisowieren, the empowerment is in phases, streamlined to cut across the various wards in the federal constituency.

The federal lawmaker who was joined at the occasion by governorship candidate of All Progress Congress (APC) in last year’s Edo gubernatorial election, Osagie Ize-Iyamu expressed appreciation to the constituents for their support.

He explained that next phase of the empowerment is expected to cater for constituents who have not benefitted from previous programme.

Also, Ize-Iyamu called for judicious use of the donated items, adding the empowerment is free and was not for elections but in appreciation to the constituents.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr Osuma Itota who could not hide his joy thanked the federal lawmaker for the empowerment.

“I no fit happy. At least this motorcycle go help me well well for my farm work”, Itota told The Nigerian Observer at Oza
