The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has eulogised late Lady Amena Eghobamien, describing her as a woman full of love and kindness.

The governor who led other top government officials to the funeral, urged the children of the deceased to emulate her virtue.

He said, “As for my cousins, they have no excuse not to extend love, kindness and happiness to others. I will say they have almost abundant of these values.

“My aunt was full of love. She was full of kindness with open heart to everyone who came by. She never had an evil word for anybody. She was about peace and bringing people together. My word for them is that they should propagate those values that mama lived for,” he said.

Dignitaries at the event include Secretary to Edo Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq.; Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwole Iyamu SAN; Commissioner, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Isoken Omo, and former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, among others.
