BENIN CITY – The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has mourned the passing of Pa Omoregie Idehen, describing him as a great community leader who contributed immensely to societal development.

In a statement, Obaseki noted, “It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the passing of Pa Omoregie Idehen, a great man and community leader, who led a fulfilled life.

“A hardworking man, Pa Omoregie was a devout family man and showed compassion and courage in equal measure.

“He was behind the popular Ambassadors Photos, which captured precious moments and memories of all that throng his studio for their special occasions.”

The governor further stated, “Kind-hearted and committed to noble ideals, Pa Omoregie was virtuous and diligent, which are traits he passed to his children and all who learned under his tutelage.

“He will be remembered for his wise counsel and forbearance as well as his commitment to societal development.

“I commiserate with the Omoregie family and pray that God grants all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
