The All Progressives Congress has settled for indirect primary election to select its presidential candidate in the forthcoming presidential election.

The stakeholders made this choice at the party’s 11th National Executive Committee meeting held at the Transcorp Hotel in Abuja.

Moreover, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and other leaders of the party transferred their powers to the National Working Committee of the APC to make decisions for a period of 90 days.

Meanwhile, the party has settled its presidential nomination forms at N100 million.

The party’s national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, revealed this shortly after the 11th National Executive Meeting in Abuja yesterday.

The nomination form would go for N70 million while expression of interest forms would go for N30 million.

Opposing an earlier announcement by the party’s national women leader, Betta Edu, that the women will get free forms, Morka said women are entitled to free nomination forms but will pay for their expression of interest forms.

Among those who will be contesting the APC Presidential primary are former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State , the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; and Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi..

Others are Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi; the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige and The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
