Secondary Schools Football Championship: Western Boys, Eghosa AS dominate, to set up Semifinals clash

The ongoing Edo People Forum sponsored Secondary School Football Championship is advancing to the finals stage as Western Boys High School team and Eghosa Anglican School came out superior against their opponents in their last group games to set up semifinals clash.

The Western Boys humbled Edo College 3-0 just as Eghosa Anglican were also emphatic against Edo Boys in a 2-0 victory in the last group matches played on Sunday evening in Benin.

In the semifinals pairings scheduled for the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium,on Thursday,Western Boys High school are fixed to lock horns with Eghosa Anglican School. Kickoff time is 2:00 PM.

In the women category,Our lady of Fatima ( Auchi) have been paired against Acc Irrua or Ujuolen Secondary School. Kickoff time is 4pm.

In another fixture of Edo South competition on Sunday evening,Idia College posted a 1-0 victory against St.Maria Goretti.

Edo North results so far have Ogbona Secondary School triumphed 4-2 over Fugar .
Egori 1-0 Fugar;
Ogbona 3-1 Egori ;Our lady 6-0 St Paul and St Paul 0-4 Our lady

In the final group game of the Edo North,Our lady edged out Ogbona by 2-0 to set up semifinals clash against winners of Edo central slot between ACC.Irua and Ujuelen Secondary School.
